- I've wanted to use an Amazing Devil song for another animatic for ages now, but figured they wouldn't work for Good Omens since it's far too upbeat of a show... I was wrong apparently... but now I've made this so that's good!
Either way I did love the latest season and will now be drawing lots of angsty art to help myself cope. Hope you enjoy it :)

This song is perfect for them. The lyrics fit so well down to the “we didn’t talk”, the piano and even wallpaper lines. The art is amazing.
I adore this song, it’s my favourite song by this band and when I saw that finale everything just clicked and I had to use it! I particularly like the ‘It’s never my intention’ but relating to Crowley and his fall, and also the ‘I wish I’d known these stones were something I could save’ and how I think it’ll reflect Aziraphale next season when he realises his mistake
this is severely underrated, how you managed to put out an entire fully colored animatic only a week after the season came out is incredible, and the storytelling goes so perfectly with the song. i especially love the background texture it just makes me so happy and fuzzy. 37/10 this is phenomenal and i cried
Thank you so much! I’m lucky that I’m a student and only work one or two shifts a week over the summer so I basically had four days straight to sit and make this, and with the way season 2 is living rent free in my brain that was pretty easy. But I’m so glad people like it because I did spend a really long time trying to match the lyrics and things. The fact that people are enjoying it is making me so happy!

Ohh this was so amazing! I loved all the style you chose for the backgrounds and the way space kept creeping in, like they were constantly being reminded of the first time they saw each other.
Thank you so much! Crowley is so intrinsically linked with the stars, and his nebula is where he suggested they run away to back in season one, so I really liked the idea of having that memory show up again and again

GOOD OMENS AND THE AMAZING DEVIL AAA... I've associated this song (and a few of their other songs) with good omens since i watched it and this is perfect for them!
With the way season 2 ended I just couldn’t help myself! This song is so unbelievably gorgeous and it fit them so perfectly! I’m really glad you liked it!
I really thought I was the only one listening to The Amazing Devil and heavily associating their lyrics with ineffables. They're just so heavy and heartbreaking, but very tender at the same time, just like the complicated relationship of these two. Dude, I love this so much, made me tear up

I've never read the books, but someone else said something along the lines that if season 3/the show doesn't end with Az kissing C as they back into their cottage home, filled with books and plants and baked goods as God says, "And it ended how it began, in a garden." They're gonna implode and I agree. Your scene with the cottage filling up with their things is exactly what they were talking about and I'm going to live vicariously through this animatic if that doesn't happen.
I would die for that to be the ending! I just want them to be soft and happy together again!

I watched that final scene and this was all I could think about. Ruin is my favourite TAD song and I just couldn’t resist doing this. Hopefully I don’t break too many hearts XD

Random thought I just had, typically demons would be portrayed with bat-like wings wouldn't they? But Crowley has feathers which I think is supposed to show how he isn't a full demon or angel.

If there never is a season 3, I will automatically assume this is their ending. Just add Crowley being pissed at Aziraphale when they reunite and I’m good.
Yeah I’m really hoping for a nuanced ending where Aziraphale has to fight to make things up to Crowley, but unfortunately that’s very hard to convey in 100 frames with no audio so we skipped straight to forgiveness here

Ah yes thats how Season 2 ended. I remember it clearly. Such a beautiful ending with a bit of heartbreak inbetween. Episode 7 of course fixed it all again!.. (im joking, still heartbroken but this animation was beautiful, very very beautiful!)
