I’ve been going to Oluideniz for years and it’s such a beautiful place! Done paragliding for the first time in 2019 (I’m petrified of heights) but it was amazing and will be doing it again this year! All the trips highlighted in this video are great!
Bit of a weird question but how much would a family of 4 really need as spending money to be able to do a lot in Fethiye? Never been and not sure how the money works or what we would need..
It’s pretty cheap because of the currency right now. We had a nice apartment for 25$ per night. Food is cheap and especially if you Don’t eat out all the time. 5$ for a meal is reasonable. Activities really depends on what you do. We had a car at that point which made it easy to get around. Hiking and the beaches are free, but a boat tour could cost you 25$ per person.
@@ayishatabdul6949 when I first started going I was a child in a family of 4 I think my mum and dad use to taking around £1800 but they use to buy a lot of things from the shops like tops and trainers and also trips can be a bit pricey but for meals and drink it is pretty cheap, we stayed In Hisaronu next to Fethiye , there are really good all inclusive options hotel if you want to save money tho, hope this helps!

I worked as a tour guide in Turkiye --too briefly. I am impressed with the integration of maps and drone footage into the program. I also appreciate the calm tone in your narration. Many people who were privileged to visit some of these sites in Turkiye in the 1960s or before may attest to pollution and environmental degradation due to 'developments' and urbanization nearby. I hope your efforts do not end up convincing irresponsible people (foreign and domestic) to swarm into sites like this, and leave their unwanted 'legacy' behind...
Nice video tips! 👍 We went to Ölüdeniz in 2012. At that time there was no cable car to mount Babadag. We didn't go to Dalyan, which is a shame because it looks amazing.
Thanks for watching! Ölüdeniz seems to be developing quickly... the cable car hasn't been around for long. But it's such a beautiful destination and Dalyan was very surprising to us as well!
Thank you! We visited from October-December (in oludeniz in mid-November). It was nice timing when we were there because the coastal areas were still warm, but there weren’t as many tourists. If you want the best weather possible, we would recommend April-October. But if you want less crowds (and still very good weather most of the time), then you can go from Oct-Dec like we did
Love the video, very informative thank you! Do you know if I can get a bus from Fethiye to the Land of Legends in Antalya by any chance? I know it's a long journey but I'm willing to travel cheap!
I believe there is a bus from fethiye to Antalya! There’s many buses and especially between the main cities it should be relatively easy to travel! Definitely saves money 😄 enjoy!
Hello, just booking to go here, thanks for the lovely video. I have a drone and would like to take it with me, did you have any problems flying over there?
We didn't at the time of our visit (2 years ago). Rules might have changed since then... drone rules change constantly so best to look into it before going!
Hey I subscribed to your site . your posts are interesting :) .. By the way I am curious did you go there in December ?was it so cold or not really ? Best wishes from İstanbul ..
Thanks!! We were in oludeniz at the end of November I think. The weather was shifting at that time... some days were sunny and still pretty warm, but others were rainy! But we were there for about 8 days so had some flexibility 😊
Great video 👍👍 I’m planning to go there by the next month (with my drone Mavic mini 2 ) please could you to tell me id you need any registration to fly drone there? And also did you’ve had any issues with flying there ?
With all the paragliders jumping off it might be a bit hard to fly your drone in Oludeniz itself. When we were there it was November and there were only a few jumps per day. In the summer, people are constantly jumping off! But overall, there was no need to register the drone when we were there last year. Definitely check the local regulations though as it might have changed
So beautiful guys😍 I planned a trip to Istanbul and now I'm thinking to visit this beautiful side of the country. We'd love to explore beaches and clean blue water where we can snorkel, where would u recommend? oludeniz/Fethiye/antalya/ras/marmaris etc
We loved Oludeniz and Kas the most. Fethiye is a bigger city but also near Oludeniz. Marmaris is a typical resort town but we did enjoy it as well (though they had really bad fires there last year). Antalya is also a big city but has a beautiful beach.
We spent 3 months on Ulu Deniz in 1974 on less than $1,000. It was completely deserted then save for an army outpost. I nearly drowned in the currents there.
@@worldwildhearts Paragliding was not even invented then. The locals were fishing with dynamite, sharks gave birth in the lagoon, snakes and scorpions under every rock. Hi Amazing video content. I have my trip planned in October next month. Can you help me by telling if I can book paragliding activity on the spot there. As I am travelling solo, few things are not confirmed like what date I will reach Oludeniz, so I am having trouble booking it in advance. Thank you in advance!
No need to book it in advance if you’re travelling in October! (As it will be the shoulder season). Flexibility is key with paragliding because of the weather. The conditions have to be good for it. We stayed for a week in oludeniz and planned it the first really sunny day we had. In October it will still be pretty sunny so probably more chances it won’t get cancelled a few days in a row
