What a great line. Stevie has written some truly great songs including this one.

Stevie and Lindsey made some great music with FM. They have both done some very good things solo, but there was magic in that mix. Thanks for reacting.

You haven't heard Stevie Nicks sing until you've listened to Fleetwood Mac's 1976 live version of "Rhiannon". Absolutely stunning. Warning: You will have to pick your jaw up from the floor Thanks for the upload.

Fleetwood Mac had a moment back in the 70s when everything was hitting right, full force and dynamic. This song is a microcosm of the Mac, the loose, slow buildup to that grinding, powerful ending. Everything coming together. Brilliance

Many folks talk about Stevie Nicks, and neglect Christine McVie. She sings 3 solo songs in Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours" album, and 2 in the previous album: "Don't Stop", "Songbird", "You Make Loving Fun"; "Over My Head", "Say You Love Me".

EVERYTHING by Fleetwood Mac is amazing! If you haven't already, PLEASE react to "Songbird". Fleetwood Mac is one of those great bands with a deep lead vocal bench through Stevie Nicks, Christine McVie, and Lindsey Buckingham and a band full of amazing songwriters...which lets them really show a lot of variety in their songs and sound. The entire Rumours album is FIRE!

My husband was NOT a Stevie Nicks fan when we met. When I played this song for him, he became immediately intrigued with the lyric "Rock on Gold Dust Woman, take your silver spoon and dig your grave" which he felt was the most vicious lyric he had ever heard. And she directed that lyric towards herself. The rest of the song is, of course, directed towards her then recent ex Lindsey Buckingham, who played guitar (and is incredibly underrated as a guitar player IMHO) and sang back up on this song. On one microphone. While she belted in his face "do you know how to pick up the pieces and go home."
