- A video showing a fight between a group of young men and several employees at a Mount Greenwood restaurant over the weekend was shown in court to a judge as four men face charges.
NBC Chicago’s Evrod Cassimy reports.
Maybe I’m missing something, all 4 of these guys are 20 years old. So who illegally served them at the bar?
Good question. Considering the owner was hospitalized with injuries, have to look at liability.
Nobody said they got drunk at the bar. It’s a late night pizza place. The kind you go to when you’ve been drinking all night and you’re hungry and need some food in you to soak up the booze

In the video it looks like the fight was right in front of the restaurant and not down the street. This is what the defense attorney said so I’m taking it with a grain of salt. 🧂

Kicking unwanted, obnoxious people OUT of the restaurant is one thing, but following them OUT of the restaurant and onto PUBLIC PROPERTY to pursue them and continue a verbal confrontation until it turns into a physical altercation makes the restaurant employees liable and at fault, NOT the guys they kicked OUT. The four guys in the restaurant may have been turds, but once they were OUT of the restaurant IT WAS OVER and the employees should have let it go.
