Absolutely beautiful cinematography as always! UK countryside is so eerie and mysterious. I can just picture a dinky little pub out there in the misty moors, filled with gnomes and hobgoblins.
Hello, i found you today and subscribed. My ancestors come from Wales. I have wanted to see the countryside and really see what it's like. I am from Wyoming USA. We have long cold winters here. But dry. We don't have humidity. Tons of snow, but it's dry. I lived in Germany for 5 years. So I understand the coldness of humidity. It's very beautiful in Wales. Thank you for showing us!
This is just beautiful, Beth. Thank you for sharing these special days with us. I find the surrounding peace inspiring, and also the peace within you shines through. I hope you find comfort within these cold and sometimes bleak November days and I also hope you will find something special to inspire you every day. with love from the Hampshire countryside xx
Oh I'm so glad I stumbled upon you kindred spirit friend! I make UA-cam videos in a similar spirit as you abut my life in the remote West and it's so beautiful to think you're half a world away, but going through such similar things. I also relate so much to what you shared about your perspective and what you go through - it was almost like hearing you read from things I've written in my journal. Glad to be connected! Sending love from my little corner of the world to yours 🧡
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this comment - it's comments like these that really make me appreciate the magic of the internet, how we can be invited to have glimpses of humans living their lives thousands of miles away and realise that we're not all too different. Wishing you so much luck on your quiet journey and sending a big hug from Wales ❤
Such beautiful calming energy in your videos, Beth. Listening to you chat to the camera feels like I could be right there chatting with you, your personality reminds me of myself in many ways, hehe, and it makes me happy to feel a kindred spirit! Thanks for the little push of inspiration too, I have so many art projects I want to do this month also but often find myself stuck for fear of failure - so I understand all too well. Time to break down some personal walls and move forward with creating. 🥰
This is the first video I saw from your channel and I just wanted to say that you have a very special view of things. Simply beautiful. Wish you inspiration for new videos ✨ Keep going!
You are so right, getting outside is the key to mental health and life balance. And being outside in Pembrokeshire is always special, however murky the weather. My favourite place in the world - Sir Benfro. Thank you for being my window back there.
@adventuringbeth Head to the top of Carn Ingli on a dark and gloomy day and really feel the magic in the Prescelis. And perhaps you know about the stones up there and how they sing?
Hi Beth, thanks again for this beauty. I have a list of strategies which comes out every October, top of the list is Get Outside regardless of the weather. These last few days of over hanging clouds of gloom have so far not infiltrated too far down into my psyche due to the commitment to getting into the fields regardless. Best wishes.
Thank you for being here! 'Get outside regardless of the weather' is a great rule to live by, isn't it? I'm doing a lot better since adopting Lupa, who forces me out even in torrential rain!
Nice to hear your hopes, dreams and fears are similar to mine. Sometimes we think we're different or alone in our thoughts but we're not. Beautiful video. Thank you.
Thanks for another beautiful video😊 Love the idea of a tech-free space! Can't wait to see what it looks like eventually. Remember, as you start doing things that, our value comes from our existence and not our ability to constantly achieve. Since we are all human beings and not human "doings"😊 Wishing your family all the best as you prepare for the winter ahead.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it :) That is a big lesson I learnt at the beginning of this year! But now I'm trying to push myself to do things that bring me joy and connection rather than letting fear get in the way. I don't think I explained that fully in the video! Thank you for your sweet comment, and for taking the time to watch my video ❤
Hello lovely, thank you for your heart warming episode. I hope a doorway soon enters for your Shepherd hut. It was great to hear the robin and geese flying over. When you are used to constant wind a still day feels strange doesn't it? We lived in the Hebs for 8years , so I have experienced it. I hope you can let the darkness become a cloak and a comfort, a place to nurture your dreams, and an acceptance of that part of you that may be hidden. Namaste beautiful 💗🙏🏾💗
Ahh thank you for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Alex and I have often talked about life in the Hebrides, I imagine it was a completely transformational time for you? Thank you for your lovely words, sending hugs and a little magic from Wales x ❤
Beth I’m waiting for you here in Oxfordshire. Also as soon as you mentioned Gilmore Girls, I realised you look a lot like Lorelai. I’d say you’re definitely her from the series. And I’m probably Paris lol 😬🤪
I can't wait! My little sister thinks I look like Lorelei (she's almost 14 and it's weird that her generation is watching the Gilmore Girls too!) and Paris is my favourite character, so it makes sense you'd be her!
Is that Lupa licking the window at 00:56? 😂😂 I also got myself a wooden rocking chair that I found on an online marketplace, what a coincidence 😍 It's so wonderful to see your place during autumn, thank you for sharing!
I was hoping someone would notice haha! I think there was a fly. I love that we're both in our old lady rocking chair era! And Wales will always be here to welcome you back, whenever you want to visit!
Tia Watson UA-camr has bought a rundown place and I thought you might pick up some tips from her about doors etc as she started with nothing and doing everything herself and her dad helps out she’s lovely to watch I also suffer with depression never had it before it’s been 2 years now and I am finally seeing some light coming through your so,lovely I watch your vlog and I look so forward to seeing you and them views are breathtaking and watch rewilding Jude he’s on his own in a very old cottage in Scotland in the middle of the countryside hope you don’t mind me telling you these vlogs to watch thought it would help lovely vlog as always Sending a big hug to you both 😊🤗💗🌾🪻🍁🪵🌷🌼
I just subscribed after watching a few videos and I can't begin to tell you how much my girlfriend and I envy your guys' decision to move. Would love to do the same exact thing, but just don't know how to take the plunge. Did you guys have any career sacrifices? How were you able to swing the move financially? Do you both work remote?

Very well said - it's lovely to realise so many of us hope for the same things, and we're not as alone as we think. Thank you for watching❤
