TNEC 58 - the best beginner aggressive skate...or something more?

- Опубліковано 4 лют 2025
- I skated the TNEC 58 Skate by The New Everything Company for a month at various street and skatepark sessions, roughed them up a bit and in this video I offer my thoughts on it. I take the deepest of deep dives on every aspect of the skate, compare it to other models in its price range, comment on where I feel it sits in the marketplace, the exciting prospects of the concept for the brand compared to the reality of its performance and lifespan. If you're a massive blade nerd like me, this one is for you

Dave, you got some really good taste in music/beats. you've surprised be with a few tracks
good music is very rare in a review video
@@chinobean3555 ha! Thanks
@@wheelsceneblading you should check out "da vosk docta" if u just need beats. i used to be big on him and the beat in this video kinda reminded me of him
those white wheels help a lot but i just cant get down with TNEC. shits is ugggzzzuh. in 15 years were going to look back abd say wtf where we thinking with the TNECS hahahaha jp its eh
Thank for the in-depth review and nice footy. Can’t wait to see the sole mod swaps w/ TNEC frames
@@NoBuddyz I don’t think that would fit well
Thanks for the review! I was hoping you would do one for these.
I wasn’t even considering trying these, but I am now after this review 😆 Your skating is looking super solid in this boot
Thanks for the review. Those clips on the curved ledge looked really cool.
@@stuco are they much different from M12, Cult or 909 in terms of look?
One of the most interesting thing about the impacts was, I feel the first people to do a flat setup stock but harder inner wheels. It’s never really taken off, but seemed obvious!
92A OUTSIDE 95A is the only way to go
If Marco Hintze came back to blading he would probably use the TNEC skate....he used to murder street comps in Razor Impacts
He’s been skating sls 🫤
My friend lives in Mexico City and he says he’s never seen a blader. Too bad the scene there seems to have disappeared!
@@michaelobrien6221 damn mexico has a booming scene. Sometimes their can be sessions of 30 plus people
Good video like always
👍🏻 Thx for the review
Those argons where crazy heavy
Yes lad
I always wondered why even back then the impact disappeared from Razors lineup when the bs plate got redesigned. I liked how the toe looked back then. I remember the impact didnt have a soul plate but a heel plate.
Next purchase 🤟🏻
Really clean skating mate!! What park where you at with the long quarter. Needing some new spors

Where are those ledges and that park in the start of the video??? 👀

When i tried a pair of tnecs they were great in the toes but my feet were too tight in the midfoot and heel. Felt like i wasnt seated in the heel properly and started to hurt. They were insanely light and felt solid. Others love em so it's just a fit issue for me. Maybe it was the liners? Either way i think i value a skate being ufs for the time being
I like this skate but the sizes are a bit confusing tbh: It says EU 41-42 for the Medium, but mondo is 28cm. I'm around 27cm mondo and EU 42.5 so not sure if the medium would fit?
Also got a wider foot.
@@badbrains5713 I fit in the large with plenty of room, so you should be fine in the medium
Interesting. Could be an alternative to my beloved m12. I never liked the Valo soul plate tough so that’s a problem.
@@cfronin really?! Why?!
I really wanted to skate them but they didn't go as small as my baby feet
Random question, but how long have your intuition liners lasted you?
@@leewardtide first pair lasted two years. My current pair have been over a year and a half
@@wheelsceneblading I've had mine for like 3 years and I feel like they're finally feeling a little floppy no matter how much I tighten them. I guess it's time to upgrade lol
@@leewardtide I think two years is good value for money. Three years is excellent value for money on the price v number of wears ratio.
@@wheelsceneblading 100% honestly, they're not even ripped yet, but I can just tell something's up.
@@leewardtide if they feel different, it’s probably time for a replacement
Did you frequent livi in the early 2000s at all?
@@sniffmatip3865 I started in 1996 and I’ve been to Livi most years since then
@wheelsceneblading I think I had seen you there back then lol. I turned into a wood pusher after 2000 myself, was crap being the only person on a pair of blades when it started to die off. Bring back salomon st90s and unity magazine
