    I have watched several of your videos with the mpv2 and I am impressed with the way it unmasks nonferrous targets. It is an impressive detector. As far as other channels, it is very easy to spot the BS. My thought on that. Opinions are like butt holes; everyone has one. Some just happen to stink more than others. I like your style and the Nexus. Keep up the good work.

    I don't know about the Nexus, but most modern analog detectors aren't true analog anymore, they do have digital circuits. I used to swing the XP GMP, Golden Mask 1+ and Deeptech Vista Smart. I also have the Rutus Alter 71 and the Deus2. They all differ in characteristics, you need to learn and master those first. Once you do, they all find the stuff. I love the dual mode on my Rutus, it gives much more info on the size and depth of your target. Wish the Deus2 had this.

    I wish I could afford one of these, I would love to try one out. I have a Deus I, and Orx, a Fisher F75 ltd, and I love all those machines, but I have a 1990 White's Eagle II analog machine that is so much better than they are at walking over pull tabs, nails, and foil but still getting the good targets! I just wish it was lighter, lol. I used analog machines for 41 years. When I go over a coin with them I know it is a coin. Maybe Calabash quit because he got a lot of backlash from bashing analogs? I sure don't miss him. Love this video.

    Up until a few days ago I had never heard of Nexus Metal Detectors! (I'm from the UK) and having watched a few video's about Georgi Chaushev demonstrating his machines ( along with this video ) I'm well impressed with this so called old hat technology! :). I've only ever had two detectors, my first was a Whites Beachcomber Discriminator in the late 70's, I had just left school and cost £89.99 over 20wks at £4.40 a week a lot of money back then, for me anyway! :) I remember you turned it anticlockwise for ferrous or clockwise for non ferrous (or was it the other way round :) ) it was a good machine in my eyes. Fast forward 40 plus yrs and my son's encouraging me to get back into detecting, so I bit the bullet and doing a little research bought the XP ORX. Now I'm not saying this is a good or bad machine, I'm simply saying it works for me, I don't know how deep it goes or all the whistles n bells, but I like how light it is and it's helped me find my few hammered coins / Lead tokens / musket / pistol balls n such. I even found a bronze age Palstave style axe head dating 3,500 - 3,800 yrs old which at the moment is with my FLO (Find's Liaison Officer). None of my targets were considered deep / less than 12 inches, so I guess I have been lucky in my finds. With all the hype manufacturers come out with, to make you buy the latest greatest detectors!.. get a bigger coil!.. buy this!.. buy that!, It's nice to see a genuine guy like Georgi keeping it real in the detecting world, and if I ever do want another machine, it would definitely be a Nexus for sure. :)
    Ps the guy in the video just makes himself look a complete fool! enough said .

    Nexus reminds me of my Nautilus Rebel with a couple extra controls added - I had a power lead pop off one day while at the Fla Treasure bch so I tried to resolder it with a match and wound up blowing it up - I bought a second one from Kevin / RTG and bought two of every IC and replaced all the chips to save the trouble shooting time - Turned out I had the deepest detector in South Florida after that - In fact Kevin wanted it - Just before Kevin passed I was replacing the batteries to sell it to him and plugged in a bad headset to test it and reversed the polarity when there was no Tone - I blew it all to hell - I had sold the second one several years before I had no way to know the part numbers from the fried Transistors and ICs - I gave it to Larain at RTG a couple years ago with 5 or more coils I had for it - I am waiting to see what Merrill has to say about the one he just picked up before I get excited enough to try and get one - someone mentioned mine detectors - I still have a KellyCo Penetrator II I got stuck with when I bought the first PI machine (Elsic I think) from them used and they pact it with very little newspaper and it arrived with the handle broke off so I could not use it in the water and they refuse to refund the $1,000 it cost and only gave me store credit - I still have that same PI in the Whites PI-1000 case that I can put back together - using the coil to test a kit built one before I bought a Surfmaster DF (Still new in the box with about only 3 hours use and for sale) and a couple weeks later the TDI BH that I will never sell and an 800 for land and dry sand ( afraid to take it in the water - I have sold around 6 detectors and no idea how many I still have - I do know I have a PI-200 that is missing somewhere that I cannot find -

      they are great for@@paulwarrenmetaldetecting The Rebel is put in a waterproof case with some of the controls missing and worked great in South Florida - I tried to use it in St Croix but it would not balance there but I was lucky I brought a PI-2000 as a backup - I think I was digging coins 20 inch or more after I made the changes - I run my TDI with 4-3.7v lith batteries cranked up to 16.8v for more depth - I have not been hunting much last couple years due to back and work issues - On-Cal 12/7 sux but am getting ready to start water hunting again -

    • @georgichaushev5617
      @georgichaushev5617 Рік тому +2

      Well this is not DD vs Concentric coils saga. It is latest Multifrequency vs Nexus obsolete dinosaur theatre. Now if every other company decides to make their detectors only with DD coils and then claim that this is it, that's only their mistake.
      And if any user out there decides to believe that voodoo bullshit, this is the user's mistake.
      For some performance demands one needs different search coil design. Digital technology CAN NOT make up for the lack of performance that derives from the wrong search coil design.
      And no single search coil design can cover all scenarios, regardless what super technology is behind it.
      Just as much as no computer can make a car with square wheels run like one with round wheels.

    I just would like to mention that single-frequency detectors.. saved hundreds of people's lives and limbs from being blown apart into multi frequency pieces... during the world wars.. .. and the same single frequency detector was used in the 60s by kipp Wagner to locate one of the most rich treasures ever found.. the 1715 fleet on the treasure Coast of Florida..... Minelab just introduced the single frequency machine and their lineup and it's working great...
    So far as obsolete goes..
    I think a certain professor of detectology needs to go back to school.

    I’ve got and use anfibio , it’s challenging for to use , but works ok , seems old hat tech to me , I was wondering if the nexus would be similar , I’m wondering how this AI will change everything, if at all , imagine downloading a app on your new AI phone, and running it through an AI coil to metal detect , wow the future of things to come ,

    • @paulwarrenmetaldetecting
      @paulwarrenmetaldetecting  8 місяців тому +1

      Hi the Anfibio is nowhere near the performance of a Nexus, Nexus machines can be tricky to run because nothing is automated so you have to set it up and maintain optimal performance by making adjustments as you go. Once you master their operation they're fantastic, I would never use anything other than audio to metal detect, new technology takes the art out of metal detecting for me .

    Ive had some the new kids on the block, Simplex, vanquish, quest x10, and were all a tad bit deeper on my test garden, but out in the field they all favored shallow targets. My finds on deeper coins came back to me when i took my old faithful Eurotek Pro back out with Mars Tiger Coil on it. My guess is alot of new tech does not do well in hard compact soils.i dont know what else it truly is. Eurotek can reach 10" coins, has fast recovery speed, its a machine without all the bells and whistles but it finds those deeper ones im looking for. Ill probably try out Tekntiks t2 with nel sharpshooter for my next detecter, its lightning fast recovery good depth, really close to Deus is my guess. Nexus looks like a huge winner. Im guessing tesoro's Tejon would be its baby brother.

    Excellent video and I'm glad you did it. This chap has no idea. why? because he's never owned a nexus and I have two and both my xp ORX and equinox 800 I sold after using my second nexus, being the MK2. Currently saving for a MK3 nexus. I've owned many detectors in my day going back to the old Garrat green adx and Arado 120. What I can say from.personal use and experience with all my detectors that I have (23) the Nexus Aka Intronik and Rutus also Mars are my 4 top detectors closely followed by a rare saxonX1 Arado 320 hybrid I own and an old Nautilus dmc3 2ba. The reason why I still use these 4 is many of my sites here are deep pasture with ancient iron and these are the detectors that just keep pulling very deep silvers at depths that my other detectors can't reach. I don't care what tech they use, I just care about the rare deep finds I get. You only have to look at a video on UA-cam of a guy say using the Rutus Altrex at a rally and he puts an old penny at 16" and all the other detectors which he has experience using could not hit it. I won't name these but look for yourself and the 4 I use and mentioned goes deeper Rutus Aka Nexus and Mars Guaus MD just keep hitting the deep stuff for me. I even sold my Atx and gpx recently due to the fact 3 of my said detectors beat them in depth tests I did. So cheers enjoyed the video and I've got a lasting grin to thank you for Paul. Well put together 😄

      Hi Chris thanks for stopping by and I hear exactly what you're saying and agree completely, I love all my analog machines but my 4 Nexus units are exceptional, even the older Coronado performs so well. I've written extensively about what I think of all the high end tech machines on the market, they've been made for easy use so anyone can get into the hobby with minimal knowledge of how a metal detector operates. They all have average performance.
      I look upon all these machines as a Jack of trades but a master of none, I made this video because the guy in it is a nasty idiot who is as thick as shit, I believe he has the mental age of a 6 year old, he's egotistical and a narcissist and his followers are as dumb as he is. No one has the right to openly slander someones else's hard work, reputation or make anyone feel bad about what machine they're using.
