I came to live in St Vincent from the UK as a little girl in the mid 70s. I remember most of those things the lady speaks about. Those were good days. What we didn't have in material things, we made up for with love, laughter and sharing what little we had with our friends and neighbours. Those were the golden, halcyon days of my life!
Thank you for the memories. I remember those days when I was growing up they were the best because we learned to appreciate all the small things in life even though we didn't have much we were happy with what ever we had.
That's one of the things I love about these islands especially SVG fresh fruits are always available in abundnce and due to the recent eruption of the Volcano the soil will be so fertile the island is about to be overflowing with fruits and veggies
