You can also use "And not only that......" instead of "Yes, and..."

If I'm telling somebody that I went to the bank and they answer "YES! And it was awesome" I'm going to be royally pissed off. Why would I tell somebody that already knew that I went to the bank that I went to the bank? This is confusing.

What a disappointment. I wanted to show this to a class I am teaching, but immediately decided against it because ON THE FIRST LINE you went into the past - a fairly big no-no in improv. This is not supposed to be a story-telling game, it is supposed to be a game where you practice the habit of building upon a philosophy and adding information. Badly done, especially for an example.
this is not improv, this is a warm up exercise
