In Uk they are not considered like our CAs. They have another accounting body called ICAEW. The ACA qualification from the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) is considered to be a premium, gold standard accountancy qualification that qualifies you as a chartered accountant . The Audit Qualification (AQ) is awarded to ICAEW members who have demonstrated that they have achieved sufficient knowledge and supervised experience in audit, through examination and work experience gained within an ICAEW Authorised Training Employer (ATE).
