I disagree with Jen about Dooku. I think he does continue to feel regrets and loss and this episode shows that his talk about Quigon in Attack of the Clones is actually sincere. Also, I don't think there was ever a chance of Quigon turning darkside...if anything he may have been able to redeem Dooku. That end scene with Yaddle and Palpatine also completes the trilogy of "throne room scenes" where Palpatine tries to get the hero to kill someone (technically this is the first...Anakin kills him (Dooku) and Luke refuses to kill Anakin).

I think that if Qui Gon survived, he may have left the order with Dooku, but definitely wouldn’t have turned. He was one of the few truly “good” Jedi left at this time, and he could’ve been an anchor to the Light for both Dooku and Anakin had he lived.
Man, could you imagine that triple threat of galactic justice? Dooku, Qui Gon, and Anakin, three generations of loose cannon cops on the edge who don't play by the rules galavanting across the galaxy getting their hands dirty, saving lives, and bringing balance to the Force?
Hey, Holden and Jen! This episode takes place between scenes of "The Phantom Menace"! Very cool. We are definitively shown Dooku erasing Kamino from the archives so the whole Sifo-Dyas business is already done and the clones have been commisioned. Dooku interacts with the Kaminoans and Jango Fett only using his Sith moniker Tyranus at this point. I think Master Librarian Jocasta had a thing for Dooku because, in a deleted scene from "Attack of the Clones", she talks so admiringly of how his bust captures his strong, proud jaw. Lol. We also learn Qui-Gon was a native of Coruscant! Corey Burton and Flo di Re reprise their "Clone Wars" roles of Dooku and Jocasta Nu, respectively. Bryce Dallas Howard voices Yaddle! Ian McDiarmid and Liam Neeson reprise their "Phantom Menace" roles as Darth Sidious and Qui-Gon Jinn, respectively!
9:04 Well, Obi-Wan also admitted towards Ahsoka in the clone wars-finale, that the council isn’t always right. And Obi-Wan has lost enough to understand, why he would turn: He lost his master, his beloved and then his Padawan along with the entire order …
Qui-gon’s death is literally the turning point for all things to come (hence why it’s called “Duel of the Fates”). Had he lived, he would’ve raised anakin right and had been the person he would’ve gone to for support and guidance in the face of his mother, Padme and everything else instead of Palpatine. I don’t believe he would’ve ever turned to the dark side. He does agree with a lot of what Dooku believes but he would never go to the extremes and atrocities that Dooku has committed for “peace”
GodDAMN I love this particular episode. It feels so much like the Phantom Apprentice and Shattered in terms of atmosphere and the sense of haunted dread. Dooku's tale is like a Shakespearian tragedy that feels heartbreaking when the actual turn occurs. Even when he fought Yaddle, he still had light inside, and she believed until the end that that could be brought out. Saul Ruiz and Nathaniel Villeneuva and Kevin Kiner are ON FIRE right now with their work in animation!
I could see how people might question it, but I don't feel like Qui-Gon would have turned to the dark side. I think he's more similar to Ahsoka in the sense that they both recognize the flaws of the Jedi Order. I feel like Qui-Gon may have eventually left the order, but not necessarily turned to the dark side, similar to Ahsoka's arc. I would be curious to see his opinion of the clone wars though
I recently got into Star Wars and I just finished episode 3 last night. Always wanted to be a part of the Star Wars community and i just wanted to say that every time I finish a movie I go to check out your guys old videos to watch the reaction and commentary and also get an idea on what I should watch next. I was thinking of watching the movies first and the Disney originals then I watch clone wars. But regardless I can’t wait to watch these newer videos in the future and learn more about the franchise as a whole.
I don't think Qui-gon would have turned, if anything he would have taken the same path Ahsoka did. Leave the order and realize their error, not necessarily call himself a Jedi but still be what a Jedi SHOULD be. and why we calling Yaddle a baby lol, she was a Jedi Master on the council!
@@acdragonrider and it's funny because everytime it happens I instantly hear the quote "when 900 years old you reach, look as good, you will not." Lmao
I like how Holden described Dooku in the Clone Wars using the words “As bad as he gets”, because the it accurately describes the Dark side as a sickness
I still can't believe how masterfully done these episodes are; single episodes pack more info and emotion than entire early Clone Wars arcs. The writers and animators have come so far!
That was just perfect! I was catching up on your videos, it sucks there are only 24h in a day otherwise I wouldn't need to catch anything up. Whilst watching your reaction on the third episode I was wondering where you stopped, and I see you released a new video in the meantime. I wish all the reactions from the show were out, but at least I'm glad you've done all the Dooku arc. That was great! Now I'm gonna keep catching up on your Clone Wars videos until your done with Tales Of The Jedi. As usual, cheers from France! 🍻 PS: I didn't say anything on it, but your video on Established Titles was great. A really well balanced take on the matter, not just taking one side or another but having your own perspective. Thank you very much for being who you are Holden.
Holden you’ve gotta get Jen to react to those short films you made, the dexter one & batman with bane & scarecrow lmao that shit is hilarious “Mexican he’s not, tacos have taken your strength. When you look like a mangled burrito then you have my permission to lie” 😭😭💀
This episode is AMAZING. And I’m so glad I watched your reaction because I was just reminded how incredible the soundtrack is!!! The emotion, the action, it’s epic. On another note: in my opinion, Qui-gon would never turn to the dark side. He is far too wise. He follows the will of the Force alone, not any persons - either Sith or Jedi.
Dave Filoni said in a round table with the people running Star Wars that the Duel of the Fates was about the fate of Anakin. If Qui-Gon had survived, he would have trained Anakin. He would have given Anakin the father figue he needed with the emotional support and training that would have prevented his falling to the dark side. Obi-Won was more like a brother and couldn't give Anakin precisely what he needed. Qui-Gon would definitely not have joined the dark side. He was the master of the Living Force and the one that trained Yoda and Obi-won to become Force Ghosts. He was the brightest light on the side of light.
Shout out to Bryce Dallas Howard for voicing Master Yaddle in this, first time playing a bit in front of the Star Wars, rather than behind it as a director in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. If you think of Jedi Master/Student relationship, it's a legit family: Dooku (Grandfather) Qui-Gon Jinn (Father) Ob-Wan Kenobi (Son) Anakin Skywalker (Brother/Grandson) Ahsoka Tano (Great-Grandaughter) Luke and Leia (Great-Great-Grandchildren) Rey Skywalker, Ben Solo, and Grogu (Great-Great-Great Grandchildren)
Qui-Gon Jinn was the first to find eternal life in the force he was the best. He never would have turned, he might have saved dooku from himself getting puppeteerd
The moment I wish we could have seen in this episode was the visual corruption of Dooku's lightsaber, having the blade change from blue to red, signifying his final acquiescence to, and embrace of the Dark Side. It could have been, after killing Yaddle, that point of no return, so to speak, they could have shown Dooku standing there, holding his lit saber, when the blade suddenly flutters and flickers, fading from the bright blue of a Jedi, to the crimson of a Sith! I realize that, based on other sources, bleeding a kyber crystal is a time and effort-intensive process, but, it would have been a huge moment, for the visual medium!
I don't think Qui-Gon would have turned to the Dark Side. On the contrary, I think if he hadn't died he might have served as a steadying influence for Dooku to not fall himself, much like he did in the previous episode when they were younger and Qui-Gon managed to prevent him from Force choking the corrupt senator with the kidnapped son. It seems Qui-Gon's death was very convenient for Palpatine given how much he mattered to Dooku and how much he would have impacted Anakin's development if he had trained him instead of Obi-Wan, which begs the question about if Palplatine explicitly intended for Maul to kill Qui-Gonn and Obi-Wan and that's why he sent him to Naboo at the end of Episode I? I mean, if Qui-Gonn and Obi-Wan weren't there, the Separatists would have hardly needed Maul's help to win that battle, and Maul literally did nothing to help them win it beyond keeping the Jedi busy. If Dooku had taken up Yaddle's offer to come back to the light, then from Dooku's p.o.v. Qui-Gon's death would have been for nothing. He couldn't do that, he obviously loved Qui-Gon as a son and his actions had led to his death.
On why yaddle speak normally compare to yoda: base on her appearance she is younger then yoda and depending on where she grew up her species roots isn’t as deep as yoda. Yoda may have been born and raised from the planet and tribe his ppl is from while yaddle she is more accustomed to mix society.
I'm sure others will say in the comments - but I think what is actually super interesting is the 'duel of the the fates' the fight between Darth Maul and Qui-Gon, originally was a fight to determine the fate of Anakin, I think equally, it was a fight that determined the fate of Dooku. If Qui-Gon had survived, not only would he be there to guide Anakin, but he'd be there to pull his master from what darkness had its grasps upon him, as he did in previous episodes.
I don't think Qui Gon would have turned- but I DO think he could have saved Dooku, and possibly the Jedi with his common sense perspective. Like young Dooku, he served the PEOPLE of the Republic, while the Jedi Council had fallen to hubris and only served the Senate.
I love how this show humanized Dooku, it shows how arrogant the Council was in not listening to those beneath them. This is how Sidious was able to influence Dooku and win him over. He wasn't just a villain, he had his reasons.
Watch the trailers of Ant-Man 3, Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3, John Wick Chapter 4 & Transformers 6. Your wife is going to love them all especially Transformers.
This was an absolute masterpiece. Dukoo really tried to do the right thing but was manipulated by Palpatine and by the time he realized it, he was already at the mercy of the Dark Side. Same thing happens to Anakin. It’s almost the same with the separation of Church and State. A “slow burn” that eventually ends up ruining everything. Evil isn’t always evil for the sake of being evil.
Remember the rule of two with the Sith, 1 Master, 1 Apprentice, No more, no less so I don't know if Quigon could've even switched over to the darkside without killing Dooku and becoming Palpatines new apprentice.
“Once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny, consume you it will.” was a common conception held by the Jedi including Yoda, Anakin, & Dooku. Maybe Yaddle felt differently, but ultimately it seems like most Jedi felt if you fell to the dark side there is no coming back. At least until Luke in episode 6 redeemed Vader.
My second favorite episode. Of The series. Heart breaking. I believe that if Quigon doesn't die at the hands if Darth Maul he would have kept Dooku from turning completely to the dark side based on the second episode.
Not sure if anyone's said this yet but fun fact, Dooku isn't actually part of the Jedi in this episode. He left the order years prior in an audio drama called Dooku Jedi Lost, but the Jedi respected him so much that they let him visit and wander the temple whenever he wanted.
Yadell was in the Phantom Menance and nothing more. So this explains what happens to her. I think she is Grogu's mom. I don'y think Qy kon would have gone to the darkside but he might have helped the Jedi's move more center or changing some of the problems the council had from the inside. I think he would have saw Palpatine coming.
I see whatcha did there with being a believer saying referencing "no matter what you've done, you can always change your ways, you're never too far gone for the love of Christ"
Master yaddle is in episode 2 for a scene, she plays a big role in legends and now canon, surprised you don’t know her, coulda swore she was in clone wars
she wasnt in episode 2. she died before episode 2 which means she also died before the clone wars. she was in TPM for a short scene in the jedi council room
Qui-Gonn would never haved turned to the dark side. If anything, he would have convinced Dooku to join his cause instead and left the order and taken Anakin with him to train on the right path whilst undermining both the sith and jedi and rooting both corruptions. Qui-Gonn's death is the cornerstone or pillar that leads to Anakin turning to the darkside and Dooku fully joining Sidious. With Qui-Gonn alive to be Anakin's teacher, many things would have gone differently for Anakin. Obi-Wan was never a good master for Anakin. Obi-Wan training him was the second biggest mistake in Anakin's life.
I doubt Qui-gon would have ever turned to the dark side, in fact, I think Sidious distrust was completely justified, not just by rule of two standards, but by the fact that Qui-Gon's wisdom would've had the chance to bring Dooku back. Also Qui-Gon? more like By-GONE (Jinn moment)
I don't know if you already have, I know you watched ROTS while going through clone wars, but I think it would be a good idea for you (Jen) to rewatch the OG 6 movies. Could do it on your own time or split a "My Wife Rewatches" into 2 onehr videos. Where you talk about prequels then the OG's
I do think there is something to what Jen is saying. Unless you're a total nerd, like us die-hard Star Wars fans, it can be a bit hard to place new Star Wars material correctly on the timeline. I mean, if you had only seen everything once, you may not remember that Qui-Gon encountered Maul on Tatooine, then died dueling him later, so it may not click that this episode takes place DURING The Phantom Menace if you don't have someone reminding/explaining. This line of master/apprentice is so fascinating. Yoda > Dooku > Qui-Gon > Obi-Wan > Anakin > Ahsoka. I would say that Qui-Gon and Ahsoka are the ideals of what a Jedi should be. Kind, compassionate, fighting for justice, and a complete faith in the Will of the Force. Yoda and Obi-Wan are wonderful at straddling the line between ideals and realism, which is why they were respected masters on the Jedi Council. And then there are the lost ones, Dooku and Anakin, who got so caught up in the fight for justice, and frustrated at the Council's political motivations that they went too far until they couldn't find their way back to the light. The only other master/apprentice line we know anything about, but not nearly enough, is Mace Windu > Depa Billaba > Caleb Dume (Kanan Jarrus) > Ezra Bridger. It doesn't have any sith lords, but it doesn't really have any ideals, either.
It would be interesting to get more of Palpatine's backstory. Dooku and Anakin both had understandable and not at all evil motivations which Palpatine was able to use against them to turn them to the dark side. If you pay attention to what he says in Clone Wars you will see that Dooku has at least fooled himself into believing that he is still fighting for noble goals against a corrupted system. It seems inevitable that he would have turned on Palpatine once it became clear that Palpatine didn't really care about the same things he did. Palpatine's manipulation of Anakin to kill Dooku, in addition to furthering Anakin's fall, was also necessary (from Palpatine's point of view) in order to eliminate someone who was likely to become a threat to him in the near future. Anakin, while he had his own disagreements with the Jedi Council and the way in which the Republic was running things, was primarily motivated by the desire to protect Padme. Her death, which he was told was his fault (and if so, would have been before the children were born) broke him. I think this was Palpatine's design to get a very powerful apprentice who would be more easily controlled (and therefor less of a threat to himself) than Dooku. And it worked, until Luke showed up. But we never see any indication that Palpatine himself was ever anything other than evil.
a little correction dooku was already seen as an enemy of the jedi order by episode 2 they knew he was opposed to them and that he was building a seperatist alliance and yaddle we saw her on the council in episode 1 but not anymore after that
My issue with master yaddle death in this episode is it undoes her legends death. It was much more heroic in the books she died saving a planet from a bio weapon
In my opinion, if Qui Gon didn’t die fighting Maul everything would have been different. I don’t think Dooku would’ve left the jedi and killed Yaddle. Qui Gon dying is what pushed him over the edge with them which is why he did it. Also, Anakin would’ve been trained by Qui Gon and would’ve never turned. Qui Gon was more like a grey jedi because he always listened to the force first and trusted in that more than anything which is what happened when he felt the force with Anakin. This is why the song that play when Qui Gon and Maul are fighting is called “Duel of The Fates” because it has to do with Anakin’s fate and the galaxies, and George Lucas himself has said this.
@@preciousotoakhia9789 well the reason there was a clone army was because of jedi master sifo dyas who had visions about a big war that was coming and he had been kicked off the jedi council because of his strange visions so he secretly went to the kaminoans acting like he was still a part of the jedi order and told them they needed a big clone army and since the kaminoans live in the outer rim they believed him and made the clone army for the jedi and the only other person sifo dyas told after he did this was his then friend count dooku who he still believed was good and didnt know he was darth tyranus and he dooku trick sifo dyas to have access to this secret project and told the kaminoans to install the inhibitor chip into each clone and after this sifo dyas was sent by the council to negotiate with the pyke syndicate and dooku heard of this and ordered the pyke to shoot down his ship and syfo died this is why in ep 2 when obi wan goes to the kaminoans he is surprised that they made an army for the jedi and they tell him sifo dyas said so representing the jedi order and if qui gon didnt die fighting maul count dooku wouldve never turned to the dark side and syfo wouldnt have had visions about a big war since anakin wouldve been trained by a true jedi that is knowledgeable in the true jedi ways and father figure like qui gon that could have truly helped him to control his abilities and teach him how to be a true jedi since he was the chosen one and they could have trusted each other instead of like in the movies with anakin wanting more help and power with no one really helping, listening, or caring about him
If Qui-gon hadn't died, he may have joined Dooku, but Dooku would've never turned to the darkside. I mean hell, he wasn't all the way turned WITH Qui-gon's death as evidenced by the fact he never had Sith eyes.
Qui gon Jins death pushed Dooku into being full sith, you can tell he blamed the Council for not backing qui gon about the sith. I always believed if Qui Gon Jin lived he would have left the Jedi order but I do not believe he would join the sith, it would have been more like what happened with Ashoka.
i dont think qui gon was a push, i think he was an excuse. episode 2 shows his anger and willingness to inflict pain but qui gon knows the line dooku would stop at and uses the kid.
If you want to know more get Dooku Jedi Lost, it’s a great audiobook, if not the best. The script is also available. I bought the script and audiobook, it was such an enjoyable story. I highly recommend it!!
I still hold the idea if Qui-gon survived ep 1 then Anakin would've never turned to the dark side. Qui-gon did go against the council alot but I don't think we would ever end up like Dooku. I think he would've been able to help Anakin work through his problems and feeling since Qui-gon seems to know how important that stuff actually is
@preciousotoakhia9789 all I said that Anakin wouldn't have turned to the dark side. That sounds nothing like it would stop the clone wars or order 66 to me. Unless without being clouded by the dark side Anakin figures out Palpatine is the big sith lord before order 66
Qui-Gon would’ve left the council like Ahsoka. I always consider these two true jedis for they follow the ways of Force and not was others expect them to do. 💚🤎💙🤍

9:04 Well, Obi-Wan also admitted towards Ahsoka in the clone wars-finale, that the council isn’t always right.
And Obi-Wan has lost enough to understand, why he would turn: He lost his master, his beloved and then his Padawan along with the entire order …
Dooku's heartbreak for the loss of his former padawan adds so much depth to his fall to the Dark side. The music of this episode was just epic.
If qui Gon survived how will that stop order 66,clone wars and empire exactly
Corey Burton was out of this world in this episode!
The music during the scene at the tree gives off a creepy/sad vibe. I like it
Edit: wtf. You dont know Yaddle?!
Are you guys gonna watch Andor? That show is top notch 🙌🏻
Jen never treats yoda the same with either. She calls him a baby :(((
@@acdragonrider and it's funny because everytime it happens I instantly hear the quote "when 900 years old you reach, look as good, you will not." Lmao
The scene at the tree was beautifully done. Loved the OST.
Incredible episode. One of the best pieces of Star Wars; period.
I like how Holden described Dooku in the Clone Wars using the words “As bad as he gets”, because the it accurately describes the Dark side as a sickness
10:35 you’ll get there soon! A lot of us can remember every timeline and character now.
12:40 I was like wait cmon Holden should know wasn’t really decades upon decades, only 2 dog! Then he corrected himself instantly lol
By the way: Ian McDiarmid, actor of Palpatine, played Sidious in this episode of „Tales of the jedi“.
5:56 is such a cool
Shot. Yardle is in the light, Palpetine is in the dark, and dooku is between them, but noticeably closer to Palpetine
Good catch!
PS: I didn't say anything on it, but your video on Established Titles was great. A really well balanced take on the matter, not just taking one side or another but having your own perspective. Thank you very much for being who you are Holden.
You can see Master Yaddle in the council scenes in Ep 1.
Guys, watch the last two episodes of Tales of the Jedi BEFORE the Rebels S1 finale. Trust me… it lines up perfectly
Hell yeah
I’m not sure if they should watch the last two until they finish clone wars
@@ItsYaBoiPhoenix they’ve already finished clone wars… watch the beginning of their reaction to tales of the Jedi episode 3
@@CubeITChannel Ok that’s good 👍 I didn’t know if they’d finished it already
They said in the episode 6 video that they’d already seen the rebels finale.
Star Wars has been having a great end of the year. This series and Andor are great shows
Dave Filoni said in a round table with the people running Star Wars that the Duel of the Fates was about the fate of Anakin.
If you think of Jedi Master/Student relationship, it's a legit family:
Dooku (Grandfather)
Qui-Gon Jinn (Father)
Ob-Wan Kenobi (Son)
Anakin Skywalker (Brother/Grandson)
Ahsoka Tano (Great-Grandaughter)
Luke and Leia (Great-Great-Grandchildren)
Rey Skywalker, Ben Solo, and Grogu (Great-Great-Great Grandchildren)
Qui-Gon Jinn was the first to find eternal life in the force he was the best. He never would have turned, he might have saved dooku from himself getting puppeteerd
Good reaction, you two. This truly was an excellent series.
This series is just amazing. I can't wait for yall to see the last two episodes!
Qui-Gon.was closer to the light side of the force than all of the council, which is why the often came into conflict. He never would have turned.
this is best of star wars we have gotten in a long time. I hope they do more of these!
Any SW nerd knows Yaddle was on the council in phantom menace!! 😅
Yaddle is a character that appears in Phantom Menace and she's not a baby, she's like 500 years old
On why yaddle speak normally compare to yoda: base on her appearance she is younger then yoda and depending on where she grew up her species roots isn’t as deep as yoda. Yoda may have been born and raised from the planet and tribe his ppl is from while yaddle she is more accustomed to mix society.
No Yoda speaks like that to honor his master
I'm sure others will say in the comments - but I think what is actually super interesting is the 'duel of the the fates' the fight between Darth Maul and Qui-Gon, originally was a fight to determine the fate of Anakin, I think equally, it was a fight that determined the fate of Dooku.
If Qui-Gon had survived, not only would he be there to guide Anakin, but he'd be there to pull his master from what darkness had its grasps upon him, as he did in previous episodes.
You don't remember Yaddle from Ep. 1 TPM? She was on the Jedi council but noticeably absent from it in Ep 2 or 3 (forgot which).
I don't think Qui Gon would have turned- but I DO think he could have saved Dooku, and possibly the Jedi with his common sense perspective.
Like young Dooku, he served the PEOPLE of the Republic, while the Jedi Council had fallen to hubris and only served the Senate.
Yaddle dying was probably another reason why Yoda went to go fight Count Dooku
I love how this show humanized Dooku, it shows how arrogant the Council was in not listening to those beneath them. This is how Sidious was able to influence Dooku and win him over. He wasn't just a villain, he had his reasons.
Watch the trailers of Ant-Man 3, Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3, John Wick Chapter 4 & Transformers 6. Your wife is going to love them all especially Transformers.
This and episode 5 were my favorites of the Tales of the Jedi
This was an absolute masterpiece. Dukoo really tried to do the right thing but was manipulated by Palpatine and by the time he realized it, he was already at the mercy of the Dark Side. Same thing happens to Anakin. It’s almost the same with the separation of Church and State. A “slow burn” that eventually ends up ruining everything.
Evil isn’t always evil for the sake of being evil.
Qui-Gon would never have turn to the dark side, he might have died fighting his old master thou
Remember the rule of two with the Sith, 1 Master, 1 Apprentice, No more, no less so I don't know if Quigon could've even switched over to the darkside without killing Dooku and becoming Palpatines new apprentice.
Master Yaddle (female Yaddle) was in Episode 1: The phantom menace as an Easter egg.
Glad they gave her some time to shine.
Can’t really call it an Easter egg if it was her first appearance, lol.
@@alabora6781 She was in there as a joke, so that fans can have a laugh.
Easter Egg is the best term I can associate her first appearance with.
Yaddle was on the Jedi Council during episode 1, but was mysteriously absent during episode 2 and 3. This episode answers what happens to her.
Yaddle was nearly 500 years old at the time of her death. Yoda liked em young
My second favorite episode. Of The series. Heart breaking. I believe that if Quigon doesn't die at the hands if Darth Maul he would have kept Dooku from turning completely to the dark side based on the second episode.
Woah I was literally watching some of your older videos! And watched your previous video of Tales
*Episode 1. She dies before Episode 2. She was never in Clone Wars since she was dead
she wasnt in episode 2. she died before episode 2 which means she also died before the clone wars. she was in TPM for a short scene in the jedi council room
After Anakin took on the the name Darth Vader, it takes 23 years until he dies.
We’ve had an answer for who deleted the Archive in Episode II, SINCE Episode II came out…. they literally said Dooku was the one.
Holden Hardman.
Yoda's female counterpart's name is Yaddle.
a little correction dooku was already seen as an enemy of the jedi order by episode 2 they knew he was opposed to them and that he was building a seperatist alliance and yaddle we saw her on the council in episode 1 but not anymore after that
qui gon would have become what ashoka becomes, had he 'turned' as holden suggests here in his alternate timeline
If Qui-gon had lived he might have left the order to train Anakin in true ways of the force and kept Dooku in check.
This is why the song that play when Qui Gon and Maul are fighting is called “Duel of The Fates” because it has to do with Anakin’s fate and the galaxies, and George Lucas himself has said this.
if qui Gon survived how will that stop clone wars and order 66

This was definitely the best ep!
Holden didn´t know about Yaddle ? I thought everyone knew her
i love this episode and i'm so excited for the avatar video tomorrow
Qui gon Jins death pushed Dooku into being full sith, you can tell he blamed the Council for not backing qui gon about the sith. I always believed if Qui Gon Jin lived he would have left the Jedi order but I do not believe he would join the sith, it would have been more like what happened with Ashoka.
i dont think qui gon was a push, i think he was an excuse. episode 2 shows his anger and willingness to inflict pain but qui gon knows the line dooku would stop at and uses the kid.
Yaddle dying was really sad even thought there was not long build up for her character
You should have gotten these out closer to release, but love the eps nonetheless
Good that they showed us what happened to yaddle because you see her in ep 1 and then she just vanished
If you want to know more get Dooku Jedi Lost, it’s a great audiobook, if not the best. The script is also available. I bought the script and audiobook, it was such an enjoyable story. I highly recommend it!!
I don’t see Quigon turning to the dark side. Leaving the Jedi order, yes, but I think firmness that Obi Wan has comes from Quigon.
I still hold the idea if Qui-gon survived ep 1 then Anakin would've never turned to the dark side. Qui-gon did go against the council alot but I don't think we would ever end up like Dooku. I think he would've been able to help Anakin work through his problems and feeling since Qui-gon seems to know how important that stuff actually is
How will that stop clone wars and order 66

@preciousotoakhia9789 all I said that Anakin wouldn't have turned to the dark side. That sounds nothing like it would stop the clone wars or order 66 to me. Unless without being clouded by the dark side Anakin figures out Palpatine is the big sith lord before order 66
Please watch Andor if you didn't start yet!
Qui-Gon would’ve left the council like Ahsoka. I always consider these two true jedis for they follow the ways of Force and not was others expect them to do.
