Hey, I love your content, but i tend to watch on a TV via console. Why not landscape format? You could argue most people watch content via phone but that argumemt falls apart as soon as i rotate the phone to landscape. Typically, that gives us a better viewing frame. Its really not that big of a deal. I just dont see the advantage. The disadvantage being 2/3rds of my screen not giving me any visual information, to say nothing of being just plain annoying to look at.
Hey man,...I agree with you. I think as RodGon continues on YT he will likely have to make the switch because I think the skinny phone portrait mode is not going to fly anymore. I watch his stuff on my monitors or TVs too and although its a quite frustrating experience, It's understandable as to why he does it this way. It's more about where he came from and the format that was popular there at Instagram etc. For right now, the annoyance I get while watching him teach in that restrictive format, gets overshadowed by the INCREDIBLE knowledge he so generously shares in each and every lesson. We are all creatures of habit and I think that its just easier for him to just get setup based on that format. Again,..I think he may discover that he might need to rethink it if he chooses to stay in the UA-cam space. My hope is that he eventually releases his planned lessons book because THAT will be on my MUST HAVE list for sure. I'm also considering his training classes too so long as they are not crazy priced like so many others are online. Something tells me his will be more fairly priced because after all there is only one RodGon and he likes to live by the beat of a different drummer; and THANK GOD FOR THAT!!!! It's what keeps me coming back.
I would love to see you do a fully finished illustration on stream some time; like all the way from ideation to final details.
Dude, your work is awesome and has been crazy helpful…Keep the videos coming
good work. that panda hard
