Not hating, because I love that y'all are so transparent with practice and matches, but the comms and strats are no better than any high-level random PUG you can play on FaceIt. I feel like there's a big disconnect between what each player is in it for and I don't know if I can imagine this being a long-term match for your dedication and knowledge, Austin. Is this something y'all have discussed before? Edit: Just finished the Anubis game... I feel for you dude. You don't wanna be the new guy telling people how to play, but it's obviously no fun when everyone is just doing their own thing in a competitive team environment. One thing that I've noticed is that there's essentially no mid-round calling happening in these matches between you guys, so once the round start plays out, the team is just going on auto pilot. I'd be willing to bet that the opponent's comms are a whole different world if we could hear them.
Austin, you're playing with a group of people who have too much ego to change the way they play. It's that simple. Fl0m is fine, you're fine, but the rest of the guys don't want to put the work in and they want to have a say in how they play every round. At some point there needs to be 1 voice. Right now, there are too many voices.

No fluid comms, watching I have no idea what’s going on, everyone’s just dying and you either have to save or get 2 then have to retrieve bomb. I have no idea what planet truck and cooper are on

Been catching some games live and watching most of the vods. I’ve been Reading the comments about the squad and seeing a lot of good observations. From my observations the team doesn’t click well, a lot of the time the team isn’t on the same page. it seems like you Austin understand what will and won’t work, I say this because of your body-language (constant head shaking) when you hear a call or see a play you know isn’t the best + round 10 onward on map 2 (mirage) you started IGL’ing due to fl0m not feeling it and the team seemed WAY more coherent, confident and to be working somewhat as a collective. Then you guys ended up getting the 6/6 half. I can tell that you Austin are constantly gathering info (comms, audio, mini-map, map-control, util spent etc..) to properly read the enemy, understanding their body-language. You understand the optimal plays, the timings in which to execute them and when to cancel and come up with a response. It’s seems hard for the team and yourself to trust fl0m’s T calls compared to yours because (from what I feel as a player) fl0m is calling his own game more than calling off of the “body-language” of the opponent. I personally think you’d thrive in the IGL role, you’d especially fill the “do it all igl” perfectly. For example a player like twistzz, who has led the new TL to win a lot of their recent matches against arguably some of the best teams at the moment, even when going down 9-3 or down 0-1 in the series + he can multi-frag, entry, support etc.. I do believe that this roster can work but it’s on everyone to drop their egos and actually want to play, compete and win, But I fear the team doesn’t have enough interest in going anywhere with it. Seems they may just want to play and compete because it’s fun and I feel like you Austin actually have a desire and passion to play professionally if the opportunity presents itself. You’re definitely both smart enough and good enough to do so. and shiii, I’m down to fill in if needed 👨🏻🍳 All love
On one hand, I'm happy you're in a pro team. On the other, this team needs more actual teamwork, more comms, more call outs. Wicked was a better team in this regard and I hope it gets better somtime soon.
wicked was all about coms but mytic is the opposite.. no coms, everyone just doing whatever whenever.. and it's kinda not looking good for them.. I get that they are a bunch of cs stars on that team but they need to humble themselves and behave as if they are actually in a pro team.. they way they play it's like they a tier 2 team at best, faceit and premier is not the same as going up against pro teams with strats and everything.

@therealthev lol they are kinda bad but I believe they can get better, they are too drilled in with floms calls.. like if u have a better strat just say it but everyone is like "yeah alright flom cool I'll do it" then does what he says for the first 10 seconds and then from there.. all hell breaks loosd , coms are gone and I'll just push everything without asking for flashes or assistance and it's crazy, sometimes I think they don't care and give up way too easy. this isn't a team for austin, this team will give him more fame but won't allow him to display his true potential when he's constantly stuck in 1v3's

Austin had to mute his mic at the end to show how terrible they be playing when he could've just let the team know what they have to fix, no one wants to tell anyone anything they are doing is wrong that's why this team is getting destroyed by tier 2 teams.. because those tier 2 teams know who is their "donk" , knows who is their lurk and knows what to do when things go south because they would've already had the "ur doing this wrong and this needs to be fixed" talk. when anyone on mytic dies it's "damm I got wrecked" and not "why where u there freak/truck. why weren't u throwing flashes for me to peek?". this seems like they just doing this to pass time tbh
Problem with sound can be in monitor settings. Try to check in monitor settings in INPUT setting for video IF it is on auto or on hdmi or displayport. IF it is on auto-that is problem. Set in on hdmi or displayport manually according which cable he uses. Cheers
I've watched the practises, the scrims, the matches and until now I haven't commented anything but after the Anubis match... I have to say something. Not even talking from the perspective of a CS player, just as a viewer, Mythic is a mess. It's not nearly as fun to watch as Wicked was and I am pretty sure that Mythic also performs way worse. The comms are atrocious and honestly, I don't think everyone is on the same page here. I mean you got two ex pros in the team and nobody is playing together. My personal take: You and fl0m gotta rebuild this team from the ground up. Fl0m is fine, you ofc but Truck and Cooper seem like they don't even wanna be there and I won't even talk about Freaks attitude. This isn't it my man. This team won't even help you grow, which is at least should if you can't win. Have an honest talk with your mates about how serious you want to take and how serious they want to take it and go from there. I personally think that you and fl0m together have great potential but the rest of the team is dead weight.
A couple of players seem to only go for early picks with no utility or coms whatsoever. I hope you find a team that understands their roles and play it to the best of their abilities. Although Truck had a bad like we all do but be useful in other ways not just rushing in trying to get a clip
Austin I hope you get to read the comment sections on these vids... going to try and sum up the feedback. You do have a dedicated group of followers that are rooting for you and the team to succeed. Forming a pro CS team is a process. But from the outside looking in it is painful to see what is on display. How long do you give individual players demonstrate that they can commit to actual teamwork??? The early Mythic vids seemed little different than watching Faceit pugs. What is surprising is that it still feels that way. Echoing the comment below me, hopefully the team is having constructive serious discussion about what is working well and what isn't. Here's a problem I see though with that... you are a really nice guy. Please don't just "go along to get along" in those discussions. That is what we see happening in game. Don't let that happen in the private team talks. In game, you and Flom seem to be on the same page more than the others. That needs to get hashed out. Fairies, gnomes and elves aren't going to magically appear to fix this. The other people on the team need to own up to proactive effort towards being a team. Start with comms. There is lots of chatter and talking over each other which is causing data overload rather than providing limited real-time useful information towards an actual objective. As you noted yourself Austin... there is a shocking breakdown of fundamental gameplay. Not listening to IGL or remotely following any plan. Basic utilities aren't happening. Maybe that is normal at this point in a team's formation. I don't know. But it sure is frustrating to see that sausage being made. We can all see that frustration and disappointment in your face. Your fans are here rooting for you. The burden of improvement doesn't rest solely with Flom or you. But you need to have three others on the same page. Maybe the present three can make the commitment. We shall see. This is all very fixable stuff if the conversations are had and everyone is on board. Good luck! We are rooting for you!
First thing freak just leaves and doesn’t say anything, wastes a good chunk of time out of pause duration. I can tell in Austin’s face he wishes there was more seriousness. Coop Freak and Truck are very nonchalant. Half the things Freak is being told he has no urgency and has this weird ego on his shoulder.
the grind isnt there for most of the team they are having a good time, I dont think the team will do things like watch demos all together and comeup with protocols for when common things happen on the map like if they show heavy aggression mid anubis either both b main and a main push out something like that
You need to talk up more, in the game. Doesn't matter if you're new or not. If you know what needs to be done, say it, rather than critique it after the game.
