Hi Can i run pcsx2 on my laptop? I have RTX 3050 8GB,i5-10500h-6 cores 12 threads,16GB ram. I tried Black with 60 fps patch and emulation slows down to like 80% speed when explosion happens. GPU is at 100%. I think my laptop is not that good to run ps2 games, Or is it the 60 fps patch causing problems? Laptop is cool,not overheating.
These specs are more than enough to run it. weaker hardware can run it. i would suggest to upscale to your monitors resolution and change the backend (dx11, dx12x vulkan, opengl). Check to make sure the gpu is also selected to run the games as well. you might be using the igpu which may not be powerful enough for the game. Also note that while the emulator can run almost all games, not all games are optimized. check the wiki or their discord for more info. good luck.
