Surf Fishing in Marco Island | Pt. 3

- Опубліковано 29 вер 2024
- In Part 3 of our Marco Island Vacation series we head back to the South Beach to do some more Surf Fishing. At the end of Part 1 we found a group of rocks that seemed to be holding a lot of different species including Sheepshead and Pompano. We decided to start our day near these rocks this time and they didn't disappoint. We were using 1/4oz and 1/2oz egg sinkers with circle hooks and shrimp to catch all of our fish. Stay tuned for Part 4 of this series...

A fellow Minnesotan here, do you still fish this area?
what was that little queef noise at 6:11
Was in April? I actually just landed here today and saw this! During high tide, I assume?
This was in late March of last year (3/31) down in Marco. We would just go down in the morning to the beach early enough several mornings before the beach goers would get down there regardless of what the tide was. Incoming and Outgoing tide seemed to be peak fishing times but we seemed to catch fish at all tide levels.
@@MitchBradshaw thanks bro. There are snook and big sheepies everywhere
@@patrickbehr4890 Awesome! Jealous. I didn't make it down to Marco this year. I've gotten into some nice Sheeps around the docks in the canals. I have hooked several but never landed a Snook down there!
@@MitchBradshaw I got a 24 inch snook yesterday! I'm glad to see another ice fisherman having success in the surf.
@@patrickbehr4890 awesome man! Good luck the rest of your trip!
