What a treat! Angela was the perfect choice to showcase this Martin's wonderful tone and playability. That's the thing about Martin - every one has the potential to someday be a historical classic. My '67 00-18 certainly is already, IMHO.
I also have a 0018 1967. Great guitar that I've had for about 40 years. But this guitar, man, is 90 years old and sounds like it. The ultimate mahogany Martin. Beautiful sounds.
The OM has a small pickguard.
Cracks on the sides? Let's see.

I just enjoy Flattop Friday so much. I am a beginner guitar player that is pretty much self-teaching, and I could only dream of playing like this. I will keep at it though. That guitar is awesome, I have a Martin X series special that isn't as expensive, but I enjoy playing it.

The older I get the more I want a small body Martin. All I have is big Martins, HD-28 and a D-18. I love the thought of sitting on the couch playing a single 0 or a double 0.

Ha This 1933 Martin OM-18 has nice tone and voicings between its top end meddle and bottom end played by pick or flesh I would say this little Gem has been out party jamming and know doubt would play well in open tunings And another good day at Norms

Don’t understand why the nut width is never mentioned in these videos. Different nut widths completely determine how guitars play. A very important stat.

I agree with you. She could've been a bit more thorough with the description of how the guitar is made. It seems to have a great deep tone to it, making it a real gem! 🍀

Ouch! Careful Angela you have got to play! Suck it up! You got this! I tour a something in my shoulder on a freak accident on the day I was suppose def to play with someone who I’d vey talented! I couldn’t even slide down the neck a fret let alone the full length! I was screwed! They understood and we have since gotten together and really done good at jamming! It still bothers me but I power through it! I mean Angela I would go to slide down the neck and it was like I had my hand against a brick wall! Sounds good dear!

Please show some stuff that normal people and beginning players can afford. Most of this shit is for JOE!
Maybe you should watch a different channel if you aren't interested in seeing the original vintage instruments. If you want to see "normal" people instruments just go to your regional guitar store and see them in person. Further, your comment says edited??! ..and this🙄 is still what you had to say.
