House phones back in the 80s/90s couls get lines crossed up because the switchboard software was really buggy not like todays tech. So it would merge calls sometimes.

I'm with Kidd on this one. Most of them sound fake. The white van with tinted windows was in two of the stories. I know it's a real thing, but it's also used in movies too. ❤
I kept my old phone of 6 years ago because I prefer the alarm setting of it more than my new one. I don't have a plan on it, but I can understand why keeping an old phone but since the phone was tossed in a closet, then yes, that weird.
Hey Cee, and Kidd, thank you for this great reaction. When I was growing up, we used to get calls for a "Mrs. Poole". This went on for years in Brooklyn, where I grew up. It was on the house phone, and it seemed like it was always the same person who was calling our home, and always late at night. My father called the phone company, and they had no records of anyone calling our home at the times/dates we gave them. I still wonder what was happening there.
Kidd on the first story a person could have a new phone with a new number and service with a different company. The old phone still could be active with the previous number. Not everyone transferred their numbers like that...... By the way I love you guys reactions as always!
