Are you ready to learn all about the Wild West and the American Frontier? It is with great honour to present you with Footprints of the Frontier - ua-cam.com/channels/Axo1JlTahtaxnyZOFWZRIg.html
I grew up in Deadwood, worked as a cook in the Bullock, I was fortunate enough to never see anything strange. Our neighbor was part of the group that refinished it, she was very much an unpleasant woman.
I grew up in Sheridan and when I was in grade school, we were taken on a tour of the Sheridan Inn (for timeline, this was probably only a few years before it became a restaurant, so during the community center era). I've always been pretty sensitive to ghosts, so I apparently was telling my friend about Miss Kate's presence before the tour guide waded through the kids and set about explaining who she was and that she was in the wall. I actually caught up again with that friend during a visit to the city this summer and she reminded me I'd known exactly where the ghost of Miss Kate was the entire time and that we both put our jackets on until we got to go outside the building because of how cold the area near her room was. (As I recall it, we were allowed to stand just past the foyer, but not enter the room outright and it was mostly roped off to protect the antiques inside, but her chair was still there at the time.)
I'm excited about this new channel that you're working on! I love the Old West and spend 8 months of the year there even though I live on the East Coast. I've been to all 3 of these places. No ghosts or supernatural experiences for me but Oatman can be really seem "off" early mornings when it's really quiet and it's mostly just burros approaching you. It's a place you need to experience if you get a chance! I would love to see stories on Tortilla Flats, AZ, Chloride, AZ and Dubois, WY if you get to those... I've had unusual experiences in all 3.
Please , please do a video on the St. James Hotel in Cimarron New Mexico. Hotel has amazing wild west history, bullet holes still there in the roof, famous outlaws stayed there, still has the original bar and gambling house. It was one of the main stops on the Santa Fe trail till tombstone. Also, it's insanely haunted 👻
It’s almost 3am on this cold October morning. Something woke me although I’m not sure if it was a noise outside or me just naturally waking up. I’m in the middle of Edinburgh above an old Pub and opposite the morgue.I can’t sleep now so have put on Top5s while I drink a coffee and smoke ... one day someone will be in this room looking across without knowing it at me lying dead in the morgue. 🎩 thanks for another great Video Top5s.❤ your work.🗽🕰♠️♣️⬛️🏴
What is Edinburgh like 😀 and what is it close to, I've lived 51 years in Tasmania Australia, I only ever travelled to Melbourne once for 5 days because I could go by boat. I've always dreamt of going to Avebury England, I don't know why, but one look and I was mesmerised with it. I'm so beyond scared of heights I can't even watch a plane taking off. And I've spent most of the last 7 years fighting body dysmorphia and struggling to leave my unit, ghosties or not, I hate that I've missed out on places and the people that live in them 🙂 that's my favourite thing about youtube, people from all around the world in one place. This is the first channel I ever binged, so it's been a staple. Sorry for rambling but the last part of your comment made me feel sad. ☕️ also having a coffee and a smoke ☺️..at 1.14am 🙃👋🙂🇦🇺.
@@megs4193 good morning Megs, I am writing to at 3:52 am from SW Missouri. 😊 A small town outside of Springfield called Ozark. No it has nothing to do with the series as most people think. It’s a lovely little town with an awesome park & quaint downtown. Since I was awake at this hour vaping & drinking tea I thought I would say hi 👋🏻! I too love the internet for connecting people from all over the globe like the 3 of us on 3 different continents :)
@@Bambisgf77 is it where the Ozark trail is? I live in the rural countryside in Ireland but I've been to Edinburgh many times because my husband is Scottish.
@@Bambisgf77 I wish I'd seen this earlier 🤷♀️👍I must have dozed off to sleep and all replies to my comments go to my email inbox, but thank you, and so do I love talking to people from everywhere, it's incredible that we can do this now, maybe I should also think about vapping, aaanything is better than smoking, I just love sitting outside at night, it's a hard habit to break 🙂 thank you for the comment👋 😃👍👍👍.
I live in Tucson, and I swear every ghost town and old mining town in Arizona with a history back to the 1800s claims to have haunted houses and ghosts left, right and center. They all charge admission, of course. The worst offender is Tombstone---every building in town has a 'ghost tour' that promises all kind of supernatural stuff if you have $20 to spend.
I loved the Oatman hotel. Good people but I truly hated the dollar bills coving every square inch of the interior. I did experience a paranormal event in one of the old Bed and breakfast houses. Basically just doors opening on there own. Cool place but not during the summer haha. 125 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a time when a shot of whiskey was 10 cents. A simple disagreement could end in a shoot out. A common miner could become rich from one day to the next. A time of brutal events & memorable history.
I was pumped to watch this but it was more history lesson than creepy backstories which was a bit of a disappointment when I came looking for creepy. I don’t mind the history lesson when I’m expecting it though!
I've been to Oatman multiple times, always liked it and the ability to feed the burros was fun. I do remember getting a very....cold type feeling when looking at an old cave or mine shaft that was off limits. It just had a dark look about it even in the daytime
@@Sarah_270 I know, shock and horror right? people weren't allowed within 20 ft of it because of obvious reasons, but the rest of the town felt pleasant and tourist friendly was the point I was getting at. It's funny that its a town because it is pretty much just one long road about maybe 2-3 blocks. The hotel that Gable and Lombard stayed in, when I visited back in the late '90's, was very comfortable, not creepy or ghost filled in any way.
I'm from Oklahoma (formerly known as Indian Territory); my home area had Civil War battles, Indian tribes fighting each other for centuries and then later the white settlers, plus entire families died from various ailments so the ghost stories abound.
@Clevis Bleiman You're right on all counts, Clevis; not sure about who actually wrote the book(s) but there are several out there. Check out the Spook Light stories too, really intriguing stuff.
"Passed away from a plane crash" LOL It's just funny, the way that was worded. You can pass away IN a plane crash, or BECAUSE of a plane crash, but not from one. That makes it sound like a condition of poor health or something.
That was Really good. However, you should add the photos that you are talking about. Other sites also do not include photos or video footage. Apparently there must be legal issues involved but I have dug up photos of these historic places on my own. I don't know. I am not a UA-cam'r.

I really enjoyed the old west stories! Have visited Deadwood a couple of times. Beautiful but occasionally seedy.

Yeah just like every country has at least one lake with a monster in it. Great for tourism.

An old mine shaft or cave had a "dank" "cold" feeling about it? Wow.

Awesome stories! Shared this to my groups.
Is no one else going to mention how creepy the sepia photos are, with the added movement??
Totally agree! I think it also cheapens vintage photos.
Those ai enhanced images are so cool
Rest In Peace to those that passed away.

Haunted Wild West hotels? I'm your Huckleberry...
I hope there's also alien encounter stories during the wild west times that would be very interesting

Great stories and told by someone with an American accent! Appropriate and welcome for these stories!
Well as everybody is entitled to their own opinion I think that story would’ve been just as good if not better if it were told by the regular narrator
Dont forget to pack up sum trail mix ladies n gentlemen!😂lol
👻I love this kind of histories 🍁I think I was a cowgirl in another life!!! 🍁👻
Or perhaps a cow.
Thrilling👍😃
