tell you what men, Trivium for many of us is a one of our favorite new metal bands. That's no coincidence as besides the fact that they got great songs matt's presence and charismatic personality takes live performances to another level. Trivium kick fucking ass!
@@GeorgeZimmermen hell no. Matts voice was prime 2011 to 2014. In 2014 he broke it and they had to cancel a tour. Thats where the decline begins. The dark age is more 2014-2017
@@Squall6575 in waves-silence in the snow I consider the dark years of trivium. More so regarding their albums. I got into them during the ascendency era and everything following shogun was a disappointment to me until sin. I’ve seen them 15 times live since 2006.
thats why you do them both at the same time :), at a point in the concert people can kinda get a huge adrenaline rush, you get your pent up emotion out through your fist, if a person falls down help em up and do it all over again, thus is the way of the pit
for some weird reason triviums either guitar or mic gets muted, at a lot of their concerts, at the slipknot i went to the mic was muted and at mayhem wen i saw them matts guitar was muted, and if u see other live videos of them like thi one u can tell that the mic is muted
These days perhaps, since he's lost his voice. I was a trivium hater until I saw them at this exact gig - what was it 10, 11 in the morning hungover as fuck on a Saturday morning. Most unexpected and biggest surprise of the weekend. Mini-highlight of the weekend, best of the shit bands by a LONG way! I'm not the only one that thought that either, I remember chatting to a fuck load of people who were thoroughly impressed with the performance!
Yer I'd agree with 2005 being their golden year, but they could be making a comeback! I personally like In waves (caustic is my possibly my favourite by them) and they say the new album is going to be heavier, so they might still make it to the big time! But less likely now than 2005
@MikeWatt21 It's that shirt he was wearing in the "Pull Harder" video. It has the Emperor design thing that he pinned on the back. I guess he just took the sleeves off.
@ed4409 if u see their new video they have on their youtube channel their philipines tour in the begining they have one of their new songs shettering the skies above sounds amazing
@greendayray lol yea they said in an interview after the next year they did download "in 05 everyone loved us and our guitars were all out of tune and we were hung over"
@beer4life101 I think they're just being hyper about the huge stage they played on! I believe they were supposed to play on a smaller stage in the beginning
its exhale. he keeps his vocal cords strengh but tries to keep them wide open. like when u say PENGAH while u say peng ur vocal cords are closed togehter but when u do the a their wide open. try to distord the A not the peng with an wide open mouth an if u are able to do this while you stomach gets a bit harder your on the correct way. otherwise it will hurt you voice
@teazy94 Matt admitted in an interview that they were all high, hungover and all that good stuff before the show. Makes sense that there may be some problems with the show, lol.
yeah , their all just severly hung over . its like 11/12 am whne they played, and they were only told that morning that they were moved to mainstage. the night before they partied like fuck.
lol, these guys have roadies that check these things, and usually even different guitars for different tunings. things like these usually never happend. but if he noticed than im shure some roadies job must be in trouble :)
They got good power going on here but they were too sloppy because of the drugs beforehand :D There´s an article where matt says they did cocain when they learned they would play on the first stage instead of the fifth and had to learn the songs as best as they could. They were nervous as f*ck and couldn´t sleep so they smoked weed and drank to get down again. Well, the next morning they did the show :D
I only wish i could scream like matt. i try but i probably will never sound like him. his scream is unique. and i guarantee somebody who doesnt even like trivium will come on here and talk shit without watching any of the video. am i right?
no.... but if it did.. they would be copying trivium seeing how trivium released this album "ember to inferno" in 2003 i believe. and all that remains released their song in 2006 :)
Revisiting the old classic after the drop of the new album. New album fucking owns!! Havent heard Heafy that good in years!
I was 8 when my brother introduced me to trivium. Still love them to this day! \m/
Orlando Martinez wow you are a kinder, little boy, but you heart good music, good luck👍
I love how this song goes WAAAAAAY back. Love it when they had that teenage werewolf rawrs, to now the true alpha werewolf roars.
I was here first band on in the morning after they got bumped up 2 stages never will forget this
Agreed it felt like a real “event”. - everyone heading to the main stage that early. Epic.
Sprinting from the campsite 😂 still remember how good a morning this was 😂
Damn, what an amazing band, till this day frequently putting out amazing music.
I've heard 11 out of 12 songs off that album live now haha, incredible piece of music!
I never really cared for this song much, but hearing this live version it sounds awesome! Trivium kicks ass
I wish matt could scream like he did here and sing like he does now
this is the best performance i have ever seen.
I miss old trivium
Great show! Corey's playing sounds a bit sloppy at some parts though, these days he almost never messes up lol
I know. He completely messed up the second chorus. Still, he's awesome

@@stuartfrance5284 Good god Stuart thanks for that haha! 41 Now lol. Still feel pretty good tbh 👍😎
matt was a monster back the day .
Only one word can describe this: EPIC!!!
wow.. amazing crowd..
paolo at the bass is awesome! PRETY AWESOME!!
Travis is a beast
Matt was the best here.
I think 2011-12 was the best version of matt. He kept the raspy voice, and his growls got even better

@boldizzle The entire song is a half step down. On the record it's Drop D. Here it's all flatted, they play it live like this.
@greendayray lol yea they said in an interview after the next year they did download "in 05 everyone loved us and our guitars were all out of tune and we were hung over"

omg! 3:29 matt is fucking headbanging for life!
y come to a show if your just gona stand??? WTF. Trivium''s Awesome and this is there best song : hands down :p
@yankedup but it was really good generic metalcore and the crusade brought in the 7 string element
@ed4409 yeah u know but just by the way it sounds i can tell its gonna be in fucking sane
If you look at a performance of, I think, My Hatred he has long hair
but it was on ember to inferno, they redid it for ascendancy XD
@mosher117 You can definitely hear it, damn, tuning issues and the consistency is way off.
@cyanideandhappiness7 and thats why I look at the comments here to see if any1 noticed that too lmao
@Calibur43 TBH i think Matt and Pablo are out of tune here because Corey is in the original tuning :S

They looked more fruity back then, nothing wrong with that but they definitely look more metal now
Kinda odd to see Heafy with no Tattoos.
corey with a bowl cut it seems so weird to see
hate it when people turn up to festivals just to see the headline acts, they should at least try to enjoy themselves in the other acts
corey was a bit rusty that day..
3:07 CIRCLE PITS!

Greatest trolling ever.
the jackson looks way better than the dean on corey it fits more !!!
Actually, it was long, then he shaved it, grew it out again, and now it's back to shaved
@ventor11225 "Wally"
@TheGaGaJew wtf?? pranks?
Corey doesn't have a bowl? What?
