Another great review. Surprised to see how close 700nb fared against q45. Soundcore peaked in Q30 and liberty 3pro and then fell short a bit, IMO. Would like to see more reviews of $50-150 priced ANC heaphones (Soundcore space one, edifier w820nb plus, sennheiser accentum, sony whch720n, soundpeats space, 1more sonoflow, JBL live 660nc and tune 760nc, for example.)
Was truly surprised with the Muse M 278BT. Sounds even better then the Edifier w820nb while being even cheaper. Also found it the best BT headphone sound wise compared to up to the 125 range!
Im actually blown out of the water by how much soundcore offers for its price. I bought the liberty 4nc earbuds, and they are phenomenal. I'm not an audiophile, in that my ears just aren't learned enough, but the sound is great for me, and their ANC is what sold me. Top tier, plus the fit is comfortable which is definitely key.
I bought the Soundcore Q45s for way below the asking price, they always seem to be on offer on the Soundcore website. I had an early pair and sent them back because of the EQ shift between ANC off and on was unacceptable. I bought a later pair a couple of months ago and I can hardly detect any difference now, there is a very very small difference but you could never tell without looking. You have to EQ them to get the best out of them, none of the presets I found satisfactory, but some bass lift and treble adjustment gave a good result just so long as you don't increase the 6.8 hz slider. There's a peak in the frequency response at that frequency so keeping it flat or reducing it slightly gives the best result. They're not for bass heads, they're capable of doing justice to a bass drum but there's no big thump thump that you get with some headphones. They're very open and do sound good but the jury is out on whether they are preferable to my Cambridge Audio 1+ earbuds which I love. I'm not a big headphone fan and I don't care about ANC just the overall sound quality. I would love to compare them to the Sony WH-1000XM5 just to see what you get for the extra money, only then could I say if the Soundcore Q45 really are worth the money or if it's best to pay more to get more.
I just be done watching the 2023 earbuds awards video episode - thingy you did a while back…and tbh i cant help but notice it’s a full episode for subliminal messaging viewers to soundcore products 😊 after watching more videos i noticed that soundcore does sponsor this channel and just said to myself “ahh makes much sense” 😅
Your beard is 💪. Interesting choice to compare these two. It would have seemed like the Soundcore Q20i would have been more of a close competitor. Still, I appreciate your detailed explanations. Well done!
I had the q45's for less than a year before they broke apart (started with a chip in the headband plastic that happened while in their case 🤦♂️). Using the edifiers right now and they are great. Hope they last.
This video really helped! I was wondering for long time if I should go with Soundcore for the ecosystem(I have 3 of their earbuds, and like the app), but at the same time a little saving is good and I have ear fatig from earbuds recently. I'll try to get this one during Christmas. Thanks
u should try the edifier w820nb plus they are basically better in every way compared to the 700's and are still signficantly cheaper compared to the q45's!
I have been eyeing the W700NB for a while and may give them a go against recently acquired Tozo H2 ANC. Thx for comparing against a solid set from Soundcore!
Hey Picky thanks for the video. I want to ask a question. Would you buy the Soundpeats Air 4 Pro or the Anker Liberty 4 NC? Which one is better for you, and why?
Liberty 4nc and air4 have completely different sounds and fits. Buy both, return the one you like less. Both are absolutely great for their price though. I would suggest adding the soundcore p3 and p3i to this as well though, as they are a darker tuning than the 4nc but have similarly strong anc, but for half the price or even less.
@@Luke-qs2cg Did you try both? If so, which one is better for you? I can't return them when I buy. Sellers don't even allow you to try them in physical stores because they pass them off as hygienic products. If I try, I can't return them.
@@yusufemrullahparlak496 I've tried all that I mentioned. To me, the p3 is the star. 4nc if it's ~20$ or less over the p3. 4nc is a 69.99 earbud, p3 is 49, p3i is 34. All are great at that price
He's already answered that question in other episodes. For sound quality go with the Air 4 Pro for ANC go with the 4NC. I have the Air 4 Pro and I think it's great for the price. One more thing if you can't return them if you don't like them you need to find a different place to buy them. 💯🙏🇺🇸
No worries! As mike said Air4 Pro sound slightly better. 4NC have stronger ANC and better app support. Trying both is the best way to go. Amazon allows this in Australia and other countries but I'm not sure about where you are
@@ravenhart4387Returned mine too - broken after 1+ year of usage. Sound is better in Q30 but mic is a crap in noisy conditions. 700s seems good, especially in its price. Surprisingly, better than 820 i compared with.
I bought a few Edifier products over the years, and am generally unsatisfied with that brand. They sound flat and muffled, the ANC didn’t work from most positions, and most other things I buy in the same price ranges and cheaper are better in some way or another.

Hey everyone! My goal going into next year is to review more headphones so let me know in the comments what you think is worth checking out.
Qcy h3 is pretty awesome for its price
Edifier Stax colab is awesome
Another great review.

Edifier was like "Hey let's combine sennheiser momentum 4 and bose ultra" 😂

I got the q45's for under £100 uk and I can honestly say, I would have been delighted with them at twice the price.
Solid all round headphone for sure

I love my Q45. Use the all the time to deal with my misophonia. The mic is trash for things like discord/pc but works great on the phone.
Nice that it helps with that, the noise cancelling is very solid

Thanks! It's the only other headphone I had at the time

How've they been? Been tempted to replace em?

Does it have headphone jack?
they don't have multiple point connection. bummer
Thanks I'll be getting them soon!
@@lavatr8322yes pretty sure
Build wise they seem to be worse then the Edifier w820nb plus at the very least.
I have been eyeing the W700NB for a while and may give them a go against recently acquired Tozo H2 ANC. Thx for comparing against a solid set from Soundcore!
you should review more cheap headphones like QCY H4 and Soundpeats space
Edifier WH700NB vs SOUNDPEATS SPACE please
Could you compare 1more sonoflow with edifier
FYI Target has QC45 at $299.99 today 12-11-23 only
Thank you for another great comparison, Picky! 👍
Thanks!
Would like to compare them to the Tozo Ht2
Those are good! NO FLAWS!!

Excellent review as always bro. Got my Sony XM4 earbuds cause of your review. Use them everyday. Remember to drink some water.
700nb can turn on transparency (side tone) to hear own voice during phone call ?
hi picky audio. I'm just wondering what is better soundpeats air 4 pro or realme buds air 5 pro. Please give me your opinion.
Hi. I have a Edifier W830BT and was looking for a upgrade. The edifier wh700NB is better? Is a good upgrade? Thanks
Yup🎉
Just returned my Q30s for these. Q30s had a crackling with ANC, wasn't great. Hopefully the Edifier ones will be better. Were cheaper too.
How are they so far?

the edifier is only $30 here, like how
Got the Space 45 for 50$ at Ross brand new shits crazy

$49? The cheapest I could find is $79

These 2 are not in the same price range. Q45 is way more advance. However wh700nb much more cheaper.
