I think when he said 'Lucky Star in the middle of Earth, Raising along the southwest called Angkor' he might refers to an event of Vernal Epuinox happen at Angkor Wat twice a year which the sunrise aligns with the central spire of Angkor Wat Temple. Because the sun is also a 'star'. And by 'in the middle of Earth' is because if u put a compass in the middle of Angkor wat it's actually in 0 degree. It might not sounds like it but this line in Khmer is make more sense to this referencing.
