Many thanks, Allen. I've just repaired three TRVs that I've been meaning to replace for years. The valve was stuck down in every case. Now, I suppose I ought to go and apply a drop of magic mist to all the others in the house Before They Stick.
Thank you for sharing 😁 you've saved me a plumber call out fee.
The older danfos type do indeed pull out,not sure about the new ones and this allows the silicon greese or spray to lubricate all the pin ,I have never had a problem just pushing it back in again too seal but you do get water leaking out while the pin is out although usually not very much Cheers .
Good video, have a look for some useful radiator tools at ABDtools, tools for taking of Rads.valves etc.
Top guy
Wouldn't gt85 be better because it is a lubricant rather than wd40 as that removes rust and lubrication
Mine wiggles about and doesnt go up and down. Should they all go up and down?
Hopefully none of my customers will watch this one
Thanks Allen, straightforward and no messing around with things that don't need to be said, or watched, video.
Much appreciated 👍👍.
