That’s a shame that so many costumes are just packed away when a project wraps. I’m surprised there isn’t a major costume resale store in LA, NY, ATL etc. where production companies can send things when they’re finished with them so they don’t just disappear in storage for no good reason.
Is there a union for costume designers the way there is for writers? 🤔

Hi Lorelei, many of the costumes are auctioned off after production wraps. Some studios keep on hand a storage of costumes fpr reuse. As far as costume unions are concerned, Lindsey answers it in my interview with her here: ua-cam.com/users/live8ZWtfBoQ2Lw
