Seems like they try hard to cater to the Brits. Speaking of McDonalds, I was in the UK yesterday and it was the relaunch of the McRib, appeared to be the biggest thing since the coronation. 😂😂😂
‘Catering to Brits’ is a new thing.. don’t be fooled by what Deano thinks is a British holiday destination. It was a Russian/Eastern European holiday destination as a hangover from the Soviet days until the sanctions on Russia in 2022 so they’re having to pivot to countries that can visit with some cash to spend. I was at a resort in Türkiye last year that was in the process of doing the same thing because tourism follows the money.

I don't think I'll ever call the UK a bargain, but for us the current rate for the GBP makes a London layover a lot more affordable than it was a few years ago.

Hi Geani, they serve the burger in a sleeve so that yo hold the burger in the sleeve and catch the drips in it. I never understand why all west Europeans discard the sleeve and get the dripping juices everywhere. As you say it is well expensive and not value for money. But as you said, it is your tradition to have a Maccies as your last meal. All I can say is, more fool you. You should have gone back to that restaurant where you had the crispy tried and tried something else. No pint at the Central Bar then? It would have been interesting to see how that went down. Pricing here is about standard .. 19,70лв is about £8.40 for the Classic Beef .. closest meal in the UK at the minute is probably the McCrispy which, as a meal, is £8.09 .. McDs is not cheap fast food now, although it’s not PizzaHut tier yet. 🍔
I never bother getting fries in McDonald’s delivery as there always stone cold but for them to be cold when your eating in is ridiculous. I think I’ve had hot fries at McDonald’s maybe twice in my life but they were good.
The mctoast is the worst thing i've ever seen at McDonalds. As for the cold chips... when are they ever hot? the vast majority of the time we get lukewarm food and a flat drink.
What ever you do, do not buy McDonalds at the airport! It’s even more expensive! £8 for a large fries! £60 for two main meals and 2 happy meals 😂 bargain!

Then you say it’s the most expensive meal you have had in Bulgaria,I just don’t get it.There has to be places that the locals eat at even in closed down Sunny Beach,you should have asked the night worker lady,she could probably helped you in an constructive way,though maybe not the way she had anticipated 😂
You didn't get the Mctoast though. This is the Cheese toast which is only cheese. The Mctoast has ham and cheese and is much tastier. Mcdonald's in Bulgarian beach resorts is more expensive than in normal cities though, that's true. Prices are insane, overall Mcdonald's fell out of fashion in Bulgaria, it used to be much more popular back in the 90s and early 2000s. They also don't really have good salaries and it's just season workers there, usually a job for high school students, hence quality fell down. People don't stay too long working there and they have to raise the prices in order to survive, otherwise they'd be losing money.
You should asked them "whys this so expensive" sorry my mindset would have to change with that expense. Doesnt sound like you had the bestest of days which is a shame.
Love the videos deano , dont take notice of the negative comments , these guys are clowns . On mc donalds tho , they are too damn expensive now all over the world and no longer worth it . £7 for a large big mac meal for me is the end of the road for them imo
McDonald’s was and is very expensive in post communist countries, can be nearly double the UK price and you can easily eat in the restaurant for same money.
