The first time i heard this guy in the late 70´s, i was at the Jersey shore..a friend had the album and i was..WHO IS THIS GUY? I loved his voice then, love it now. RIP, MINK!!! The emotion in your voice, so powerful, so intense..thank you for leaving a trace of yourself around for posterity..you are MISSED!

Always loved Willy. He was on my cable TV show Paul Tschinkel's Innertube after I taped him at the Lone Star Cafe in the Village. !980! My daughter Nina interviewed him in Greenwich Village in 2002. He was warm and quite wonderful. I will make a movie of it. Stay tuned deVille fans. It will be quite wonderful.
