did you just reacting to the audio version ? if that the case then you only got 20% of their magic , the live version will give you 10x more than the audio version.
True, but I prefer people react to studio version first then go for live versions of any band songs, get a feel for how it is MEANT to sound, then you get to FEEL by seeing them do it live (many times a live version could be shite depending on which version the reacting person chooses or is given the link of) but the studio version you can not go wrong (unless it is Metallica - St Anger songs!)
...that's Yui and Moa doing their thing, when they sing together with out Su they're know as Black Babymetal...but now as Yui has left for medical reasons Moa and whoever she partners with will be known as Dark Babymetal....hopefully it could be someone from Sakura Gakuin...
The contrasting vocals are part of the magic of the band the melding of music styles is interesting to me. Always kills me when you say Powermetal is not heavy enough.
You should contrast the studio track with the live performance from the Tokyo Dome show. I enjoy the listening to their music, but you are missing out if you don't watch the live shows. I suggest watching it on your own, or muting the sound if you want to do a reaction video.
If your planning on doing another I think Karate might be your next pick, VERY heavy riffs. I can see why the vocals are a tough one for you. I guess it might be love them or hate them, but the wild vocal/ instrument mix is what makes it Babymetal. As a Metal fan I found it did take awhile to get over the "shock" of the Japanese Pop vocals. Now I like the uniqueness of it. The high quality of the musicians and vocalists also won me over.
this is the first time I heard the audio version. the difference I notice is that the live version vocals sound more ..haunting? like vocals from horror movie, I thinks thats better for this song
@@MetalBreakdown The Japanese already have a hard time to put into words the lyrics themselves. :-) I think this gets pretty close: du-metal.blogspot.com/2016/04/sis-anger.html But you have to remember the tone is actually harsh, much harsher than the girls might ever use outside of these songs.

Thanks for another great reaction to BM! For your next experience, i would totally recommened a live combo from the songs "Tales of the Destinies & The One" www.dailymotion.com/video/k5SzTDdeNAuR3vmioIq While it may be not your cup of tea musicwise, these two are really awesome Prog Metal tracks and the song The One (at least in the live versions) is sung entirely in english! The video is on dailymotion, cause the videos get blocked on youtube, you'd have to try and "link&sync" to prevent a copyright strike beforehand, but don't forget, the BM community is pretty much used to this, and it's quite easy, you only need to mute the audio and blurr/mirror the video a little on your side, provide the original link and give us a countdown so we can sync up (if you've the urge to pause the video in between, give out a warning and recount in afterwards) i choose this combo solely for the full english version of The One, even tho there are more heavy songs to listen to, may you enjoy it! Cheers
@@KillingMachine44 yeah, i'm a huge Prog fan myself and the track that hooked me on BM was The One (TotD was added to one of my favorites as i got my hands on the MR album)
I'm not all that familiar with BM, outside of the YT videos. This one was heavy, to the point where I thought it was a new single but it's actually from the same album as ROR. I like the music but the vocals kind of didn't fit this level of heaviness. It would have fit more now, with their voices a bit more matured and deeper.
Well this song is always sung this way, this song is only Yuimetal and Moametal forming a sub-unit called BLACK BABYMETAL. They have 3 more songs GJ, Onedari Daisakusen and Song 4 GJ dai.ly/x542mmn Onedari Daisakusen dai.ly/k4rtcJCBIUHVxUmM53V Song 4 dai.ly/x5fhq46 Sis. Anger LIVE 2017 dai.ly/x6hfr0k

Agreed,no more audio only reactions. Live reactions are a must

Tales of the destinies is a 100% must pls,my favorite overall Babymetal song it's amazing
You could look up the lyrics on lyrics translation so you can understand what they are singing.
Yeah that's what I said near the end but it's not as "natural" as an english song and meaning can change when you translate!

Crystal lake "lost in forever"
The lyrics are pretty damned dark on this one and the choreography is badass live

This is the only babymetal song with swearing in it once translated it's about how they are tired of the bullshit
