Hi Luc, I can only give the experience of using the M3's in hot and humid and hot and dry climates - they have worked exceptionally well - the coldest I have used the M3's is 5C so not below freezing. I have used my M3's in the rain (wet) and they still respond well. Now that I have begun using the M4's I can say that the touch (for changing volume and songs) is more accurately responsive than the M3's.
What a review! I was happy to see that the music will start back paying once you put the headphones back on your head. I've been stalking these headphones on the internet for months, and I plan on buying them for my birthday tomorrow. Really excited about it!

Just what I am looking for. My job routine includes deep focus on specific subjects on my computer for which I like to listen to music to help me focus and frequent interruptions from incoming calls which I must take. So I am constantly switching from listening to music to taking calls which is quite painful (hitting pause/play all the time, jacking in my headphones back and forth between my phone and my laptop). Just tried the sound quality (amazing btw) in a retail store. The noise canceling is definitely a feature I appreciate. Looked up for reviews on this product on UA-cam and stumbled on your video: thumbs-up. 10 minutes video straight to the point and getting to witness all the cool features. The split screen showing the app while interacting with the device is really good. I will definitely buy this product.

I just upgraded from the XM3 and yes the new features are great. BUT I’m seriously considering returning them due to the bad phone call experience. In the XM3s, whenever I would accept a phone call the headphones would automatically let in ambient sound which was nice so you can hear your voice while talking. In the XM4s, however, the noice canceling makes it impossible to hear your own voice while talking so you have no idea how loud you’re actually talking, it’s like you’re deaf (at least how I would imagine it to be...) IF there is a way to change this please let me know, otherwise I’m definitely returning them :(

Based off the m3's, they didn't start going on sale until about 2 months before the m4's were announced, so I don't expect these to go on sale anytime soon. That being said, the m3's are still absolutely amazing and the difference between the two is minimal. If you want to get the m3's, you're not missing out on too much, and you'll still have the second best headphones on the market

No other reviews mention anything about it yet. The written reviews of it on Google aren’t consistent. Some reviews say the song quality is a massive upgrade while some say that it is more or less the same as the previous ones.

I just sold my mark 3s and pre ordered the 4s. The bigger earcups and auto start stop alone sold me. I'll have to see if multipairing supports ldac for both devices, because I have my phone and digital audio player separately
They arw awesome, the auto start stop is my fav feature. Sadly when you pair 2 devices you lose LDAC, but since I'm on iPhone Im unable to use the LDAC anyway, so it doesn't really affect me, but that's something you might want to consider

Depends on whether or not you want in ear or over ear headphones. Do you like the convenience of apple? Or do you prefer better sound quality and noise canceling in a larger package? That's up to you to decide what works best for you. But I will always take headphones over earphones personally

Yes, in the video thats the feature that I say I'm not going to enable. By default its turned off, but you can turn it on. For some its helpful, but I don't see myself using it
Wow Just Wow, Sony Finally Did It. You know its a good headset when you just have to buy two pairs, the only other headphone I got twice was the HD650. Not even the QC35, nor the 700 made it to the double list, the XM3 got purchased and those I returned the same day due to crappy sound and that damn annoying cloth touching your ear inside the ear cups. This here, truly is one of the best things of 2020. Good Darn Job Sony! Good Job!

We can all agree they are great! The question is if a person doesn't have XM3's or XM4's... What is the better bang for your buck? XM3 Goes for around 230€ and XM4 is 380€.. That's 65%/150€ more for a slightly better device? Thoughts?
If you don't own either, the m3's are great. The m4s are a nice incremental quality of life uograde, but unless you REALLY need the ability to connect to 2 devices at once, the m3s are amazing. Especially at that price
I have absolutely no idea. I'll have to test this out when I get back to my ps4, but if assume they have the same connectivity as the m3's, so you should Google whether or not those could connect to the ps4
no. u can’t pair these headsets wirelessly to a gaming console because there will be latency cuz it’s bluetooth. gaming headsets have a 2.4GHz connection with little to no latency so. no ones gonna include that on ANC headphones meant to be for other things. if u wanna game plug in the headphone jack. that’s all
I'm aware, there are a couple other niche services as well, but I don't have tidal and I don't know of anyone that does, and the catalog of compatible 360 audio enabled songs are not something that I'd personally listen to, so although it's a really cool feature, it doesn't really affect me

I'll have a full m3 vs m4 video coming out where I go into more detail, but the m4s are a good quality of life update with a couple nice new features, but the m3s still are amazing headphones. If I owned the m3s I personally probably wouldn't uograde, but I know people who owned the m3s and bought this one because they love them.
Yes, it most definitely works on android, and arguably is more geared towards android. Those labels on the box are just to show that it works on iPhone
My problem with the M3's is the difficulty switching between my iPhone and ipad. Having to close down Bluetooth connection on one before connecting to the other. How does the M4 handle this? I am not switching to make phone calls. More likely going from music on my iPhone to a movie on the I pad. Does the M4 do this automatically?? Thanks
Yes! You have to enable the two device connection, and when you do this, it works automatically. Pause a UA-cam video on your laptop, start playing music on your phone, it automatically detects and switches. I've found theres a 3-10 second delay when you switch if you do it too quickly, but if you give it 5 seconds, you'll have no lag between switches

Hi I had bought the xm3 and bose quiet comfort and had to return both since my ears became uncomfortably red just listening for 5 minutes....is the same issue with the xm4. Kindly confirm!
Been testing this feature, I've found mixed results. When doing voice recordings it doesn't sound good, but voice calls it sounds clear and amazing. So I'm gonna do more testing to make sure ☺️

I just bought these headphones and i don't feel any bass at all and lots of noise leakage. Please help, I have Samsung Galaxy Buds Live as well, and the bass on those feel way more punchy than these sony's. Is my pair faulty or is that just it.
Does this one really dropped support for Aptx and also as app says it won't support LDAC while using two device connection feature, which one does it use ?
It uses the same chip as the m3's, but sony have tweaked th algorithms to be a little bit better; and the updated design also helps with passive noise canceling

You shouldn't be in a rush, I'm sure the m3's will stay at that price for a while. I think for most people the m3's are still better and you really can't argue with the price. Unless you absolutely need 2 device connection at the same time and want the other nice lil quality of life uogrades, the m3's are very very similar

From my experience the blue LED only blinks when you turn it on and off, no blinking while it's actually in use

Is it possible to connect them via Bluetooth as a gaming headset to a PS4 or PS5?
I have absolutely no idea. I'll have to test this out when I get back to my ps4, but if assume they have the same connectivity as the m3's, so you should Google whether or not those could connect to the ps4

no. u can’t pair these headsets wirelessly to a gaming console because there will be latency cuz it’s bluetooth. gaming headsets have a 2.4GHz connection with little to no latency so. no ones gonna include that on ANC headphones meant to be for other things. if u wanna game plug in the headphone jack. that’s all

I'm aware, there are a couple other niche services as well, but I don't have tidal and I don't know of anyone that does, and the catalog of compatible 360 audio enabled songs are not something that I'd personally listen to, so although it's a really cool feature, it doesn't really affect me

I'll have a full m3 vs m4 video coming out where I go into more detail, but the m4s are a good quality of life update with a couple nice new features, but the m3s still are amazing headphones. If I owned the m3s I personally probably wouldn't uograde, but I know people who owned the m3s and bought this one because they love them.

They do not have any sort of ipx rating, Ill have to test out how they do against the elements, but I'd assume not great in rain, and decent in cold

Yes, it most definitely works on android, and arguably is more geared towards android. Those labels on the box are just to show that it works on iPhone

My problem with the M3's is the difficulty switching between my iPhone and ipad. Having to close down Bluetooth connection on one before connecting to the other. How does the M4 handle this?
I am not switching to make phone calls. More likely going from music on my iPhone to a movie on the I pad.

Yes! You have to enable the two device connection, and when you do this, it works automatically. Pause a UA-cam video on your laptop, start playing music on your phone, it automatically detects and switches. I've found theres a 3-10 second delay when you switch if you do it too quickly, but if you give it 5 seconds, you'll have no lag between switches

Hi I had bought the xm3 and bose quiet comfort and had to return both since my ears became uncomfortably red just listening for 5 minutes....is the same issue with the xm4. Kindly confirm!
I've listed to them for hours and I've had no issues, but they aren't that different from the other two you mentioned, so they might do the same thing

How does phone calls sound to you and the person on the other line when outside?
Been testing this feature, I've found mixed results. When doing voice recordings it doesn't sound good, but voice calls it sounds clear and amazing. So I'm gonna do more testing to make sure ☺️

How are the hinges? Do they creak when stretching them? I returned two xm3s because of this.
I've had no issues with mine, but I'm not purposely stretching them out to see if they make noises
@@MarcTaraz I see, well if they're the exact same as the xm3s they will start creaking within the first month simple by putting them on and taking them off. Kind of annoying considering the price point.
I just bought these headphones and i don't feel any bass at all and lots of noise leakage. Please help, I have Samsung Galaxy Buds Live as well, and the bass on those feel way more punchy than these sony's.

Hello do the xm4 still have the blue led blinking light when pausing or skipping tracks ect.. so annoying at night
From my use I haven't seen that, they only blink when they are off my head letting me know they are still on

It uses the same chip as the m3's, but sony have tweaked th algorithms to be a little bit better; and the updated design also helps with passive noise canceling

You shouldn't be in a rush, I'm sure the m3's will stay at that price for a while. I think for most people the m3's are still better and you really can't argue with the price. Unless you absolutely need 2 device connection at the same time and want the other nice lil quality of life uogrades, the m3's are very very similar
