Yeah, that’s cap. What makes you think Hamza destroyed Avery? Avery consistently provided verses and text with his arguments and responses. Hamza, just made claims without evidence throughout the debate and in the times he did provide “evidence” it was easily dismantled because Hamza is so good at taking things out of context.
In fact, what we see in the debate is a lack of textual criticism on Hamza’s part. Hamza holds this standard with the Quran where context is key and so it’s okay to not take a reading plainly and it could have a deeper meaning. However, when it comes to the Bible, all of a sudden the application of context and textual criticism is now non-existent and Hamza says “Take the text plainly” while ignoring the very context of the passage. Sorry bud, this isn’t Avery getting destroyed, this is Hamza not being in the same ballpark as Avery in terms of knowledge and integrity.
