This is a pretty good episode, I like the moment Sam realized the Puzzle Piece was in his pocket and when he was relieved his train was 10 minutes late. Also, I own a house near Trento, so it was nice knowing you were in my area. Confirmed Trenitalia train delays in episode 2: Amount: 1/6 trains Type of service: Regionale Route: Between Gorizia Centrale and Udine Delay time: 10 minutes delay Reason: Unclear
Imo the puzzle relied too much on just noticing things, rather than working them out. Like picking a random word from each tweet doesn't feel like something you can work out with logic.. guessing that the numbers are a phone number doesn't feel like a puzzle. And guessing you have to press 6 also feels like a guess, more than a logical answer
Sam having a breakdown when looking for train schedules in Slovenia is so relatable as a Slovene. Our train situation is absolutely terrible. I hope we get to see more of Slovenia in these series!
Would be fun if you Guys would do A extreme edition of 7 days with Some new rules or something and Maybe you could buy power ups with your coins so you can have more strategic options as a runner. Like see Where the chasers are for 1500 or something like that or Hide your location for 15 min for a certain amount of coins etc.
Sam's pronunciation of "Jesenice" as [džezins] is the funniest XD (I do not know how to use the pronunciation brackets, this is just how it sounds to my ears :D)
The pronunciation brackets are for IPA! I'm not really able to transliterate it for you but there's plenty of resources online if you want to look it up
14:04 putting my guess in now - code is 412 because a homophone of each of those numbers is in each tweet SPOILERS Edit: damn, I play Connections far too often
In my opinion the puzzle box is very creative, but fell into the pitfall of many escape rooms: out-of-order information. I will delve into the details so spoiler warnings! . . . Upon opening the box, you get a string, a coin case, a coin, jigsaws, and a screen to input code. There is no way of knowing that coin case is related to the code, that the jigsaw is related to phone calls, and that the season where they ate pickled plums is related to the automatic response. The coin and the string is not useful for solving the puzzle in any way, aka a red herring. If I can help improving the puzzle solving experience, I would add more guided text above each steps on the website to hint at which irl object is helpful on that step. For example, the code could hint at weird patterns, or the pickled plum webpage could directly stated as part of the Jet Lag the game helpline. Overall, I still like this puzzle box. It involves a lot of different medium, which I often see lacking in other puzzles. I would say each of the puzzle has a 2/5 (typical) difficulty, but combined it is a 4/5 (challenging), however in Sam's case it is a 5.5/5 (impossible) scenario.
Wait I have an idea. CAPTURE THE FLAG ACROSS THE ØRESUND! (or something like that) Teams are based in Copenhagen and Malmö (or like Landskrona and Vedbæk, or even inland like Holbæk and Ystad) and then have to capture the flag and the whole territory is the Swedish region of Scania and the Danish islands of Zealand and Amager. The Øresund straight is the dividing line and you can cross by train, ferry (like any of them that go between), or like a public bus or a very high-priced taxi situation on the Øresund bridge.
I think you should add a rule: If the runner manages to film the chasers without getting caught (say in about 5 minutes after filming them), the runner should get some sort of points/coins/advantage!
We really don't need tactical sabotage between the runners. I can imagine plenty scenarios where 1 runner would want to film while the other would catch to prevent filming.
"All I need is to have the spirit of a champion. That's right, with a can-do attitude and a little bit of gumption, I can, I can achieve any- Ok, we're gonna gamble, basically." Sam choke to speak facts and just summarized the life story of more than half of the world's population at 6 AM
I was really hoping that quote was going to lead into Sam describing an elaborate plan to go to Monza, because it reminded me of his description of Daniel Ricciardo in the first Tag season and Sam is a huge F1 fan, but gambling is an acceptable alternative, I guess
I think it's time for a random challenge card generator on your phones, so the cards can't be switched/checked and then just not shuffled properly. It's just a coincidence that a double up was bought, and then an amazing card with high value and instant coins was pulled when needed.
They don’t cheat on anything including card pulls because they want to see how their game plays out for real. So much time was put into the creation of the game.
Guys, this season is so far one of the best of all the jet lag season. Really looking forward to the next episode. You're great guys! P.S. Sam is the best
I think a great idea would be to do a hide and seek game in Italy like the one you did in Switzerland it is one of my favourite videos and it should defiantly be done again
Challenge idea: start in the middle of the US, EU or Asia. The chasers can not watch your gps or research whilst the chasers are locked. No planes unless the diameter is increased.
Problem .The Subtittle are missing . I use it for help with automatic translate . It's my only way to have french subtittles . Edit : It's Done now thank you . At the End is it a cursed card with a reward with 4 digits i read ? So Sam gain over 2000 coins
If you guys play Tag again in the future, it would be nice to change things up a little. The runner is free to choose a challenge instead of randomly having to pick it from the deck. And in exchange for that, the reward for completing it is lower and the chasers must also pay for transportation. And if a challenge is failed or vetoed, the runner can cancel his freeze period by paying a "Cancel feeze period" fee. Good idea?

Sam!!! Why stay in that ugly empty parking lot/car park after the puzzle box challenge??? Take 3-5min and walk from the train station to the bridge where you would've been able to show us the amazing Ponte Vecchio (the Old Bridge) with an amazing view of the Alps in the background...
I've visited Bassano del Grappa 3 weeks ago! It's fucking awesome. Peccato che la parte del museo con le sculture del Canova era chiusa :(
Agreed and I'll add that last week, Adam went to Conegliano and it's also a cool place to go. Not as impressive as Bassano del Grappa but, still a good little afternoon trip from Venice

@@DrWhoFanJ lol! You say potato... fine, fine, I just added a "/car park" to my comment 😉

And then Sam proceeded to gambling.
In the buisness, we call this foreshadowing
That was a really hard puzzle box. I don't know if i could have figured that out even if i had all the puzzle pieces.
Just wanna say I’m a huge fan! I would love if you incorporated more facts and history of some of the places you visit or things you see into your videos, even just the story behind stuff you try in the snack zone. Thanks for making such great content!

With the power of my 1080p monitor, I can tell that the card says "Cursed!" and gives a 4 digit reward even without watching the next episode! ...and not much more.
If curses work like in previous seasons and give you the coins immediately, that's a flat 2000 coins in the bank with the double up. Probably 4000, since I think the leading digit isn't a 1.
this comment is the only reason i just went to the comments... thanks mate!
The first digit looks to be a 3. So with the power up he would get 6000 coins
Well... With the power of Nebula subscription I know exactly what card he pulled 😂😂
I guessed between the length and the reaction that it was a curse
I think it said 2000 on the card, so he would be getting 4000 coins.
Sam with gen z slangs: "chat", "lock in", "we're so back"
I'm just glad it is not just me, at 20s who still says these on regular basis xD
If you're in your 20s right now you are gen Z.
@@cvbattum its funny how people dont realise that the oldest millenials are mid 40s and oldest gen z is mid 20s, despite how gen z is seen as tweens and kids. its almost like putting people with a two decade age range in the same bucket is completely useless!
We’re so back is something they say every single season
sam was born in 98... he's gen z
I thought "we are so back" is a JetLag slang
I so appreciate the game mechanics and that Sam didn’t do this for content’s sake, but… I can’t help but be slightly very disappointed to so narrowly miss an ultra-exotic chase deep in the ***Slovenian*** ***mountains*** as opposed to uh… Italy.
Similarly how Sam narrowly missed the ferry to Dover in tag 1 :(
Yeah it feels they just play in the same areas over and over again, retreating to areas they came from. And half these places have much better public infrastructure 🥲
Same places I mean they started in Venice and immediately retreated back to Venice.
@@9wowable which is probably why they keep ending up in those places. It’s how the game works unfortunately, so again props to them for not selling out for some slightly more entertaining content
@@9wowable Italy is pretty new though! I imagine a lot of this season will be in Northern Italy so it will be a bit same-y in that sense, but it's not somewhere they've explored much before on Jet Lag :)
@@AmaranthRBY I meant not in the sense that Italy was been done before, but instead of retreating into the Slovenian alps, he retreated back towards where they started and chasers returned to Venice 👍

NEW EPISODE OF JET LAG WAKE UP!!!
FR🗣️🗣️🗣️
WAKE UP, ITS A NEW JETLAG EPISODE🗣🗣🗣🗣
Honestly? Ben and Adam chilling and being the best comedic duo is what makes them so exciting to watch just sitting and eating.
The best way I can think of to describe episode 3 without spoiling: With Australia there was a moment where I stopped rooting for anyone in particular because I knew whoever would win would absolutely deserve it. A similar but not quite for the same reason moment occurred this time as well while watching episode 3. I think I will find it equally entertaining no matter who wins, or in other words, excitement guaranteed.
Feels like the puzzle reward and penalty was incredibly flawed. 50% of 750? Might as well veto it ASAP
11:19 Ben has been struggling with those intrusive thoughts lately. First about Adam throwing himself in the river, and now this. 😂
(John 14:6 > Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.)
+
Jesus is the ONLY way!
+
(1 Corinthians 15:51-57 > [51]Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall be changed,
[52]-In a moment in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
[53]-For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
[54]-So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
[55]-O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
[56]-The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
[57]-But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.)
+
(John 3:3 > Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.)
+
(John 3:5 > Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.)
+
These are non-negotiable statements by the Lord Jesus Christ, you have to believe on Him or there will be no "eternal life" for you!
+
(Romans 10:9-10 > [9]-That if thou shalt confess with the mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him form the dead, thou shalt be saved.
[10]-For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.)
+
Romans 10:13 > For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.)
+
Have you been born again? Have you assurance of eternal life? Because the alternative is eternal damnation which is the part that the false preachers, teachers, and prophets always leave out, sin unto death!
+
Trust God for your salvation, Jesus is God. Amen!
+
All glory and honour and power and praise be to the Lord our God, Jesus Christ. Amen!
Yeah Amy’s box is just too difficult for what the reward is. I would’ve been pissed off ngl 😂
This is a pretty good episode, I like the moment Sam realized the Puzzle Piece was in his pocket and when he was relieved his train was 10 minutes late. Also, I own a house near Trento, so it was nice knowing you were in my area.
Confirmed Trenitalia train delays in episode 2:
Amount: 1/6 trains
Type of service: Regionale
Route: Between Gorizia Centrale and Udine
Delay time: 10 minutes delay
Reason: Unclear
Sam not figuring out that he messed up the puzzle was so sad and kind of frustrating
Frustration is the name of the game!
I can feel the Man at 29:44, watching 2 grown men probably doing a tiktok with mics in hand 😂😂
Amy auditioning for the role of the Riddler

Sam having a breakdown when looking for train schedules in Slovenia is so relatable as a Slovene. Our train situation is absolutely terrible. I hope we get to see more of Slovenia in these series!
Would be fun if you Guys would do A extreme edition of 7 days with Some new rules or something and Maybe you could buy power ups with your coins so you can have more strategic options as a runner. Like see Where the chasers are for 1500 or something like that or Hide your location for 15 min for a certain amount of coins etc.
Sam's pronunciation of "Jesenice" as [džezins] is the funniest XD
(I do not know how to use the pronunciation brackets, this is just how it sounds to my ears :D)
Udine pronounced as "Judijn" was also funny
All three of them completely suck at pronouncing foreign place names. It's like they don't even give any thought to what country they're in/going.
The pronunciation brackets are for IPA! I'm not really able to transliterate it for you but there's plenty of resources online if you want to look it up
The correct pronounciation is: [jɛsɛˈniːtsɛ]
Or if you don't know how to read that it's: Yesenitze, with the s being soft
@@Premium-Dumb-Ass thank you! (Wait, isn't [s] pronounced like the one in "Sound"?)

Best adventure on UA-cam right now! Big up from Sweden
"Do not destroy Amy's Puzzle Box". A reference to Big Bang Theory where Penny destroyed Sheldon's puzzle box?
That puzzle box was just diabolical honestly...
Especially the qr code that now is a rickroll
That “puzzle” was ridiculous. No one had any hope to solve that.
Wait I have an idea. CAPTURE THE FLAG ACROSS THE ØRESUND! (or something like that)
Teams are based in Copenhagen and Malmö (or like Landskrona and Vedbæk, or even inland like Holbæk and Ystad) and then have to capture the flag and the whole territory is the Swedish region of Scania and the Danish islands of Zealand and Amager. The Øresund straight is the dividing line and you can cross by train, ferry (like any of them that go between), or like a public bus or a very high-priced taxi situation on the Øresund bridge.
That Amy challenge was a good one!
32:07 “With a can do attitude, we can do anything” “We’re gonna gamble basically” probably the best line ever in Jet Lag.
As a Slovenian it's really funny to see all of them struggle with trains, names of places...
@@Tudsamfa I don’t get your comment. There are only one runner at a time. Not two runners.
So the "tag" concept from Capture the Flag then?
@@kevwwong No, I mean the other way around. I mean that the Runner should get an advantage if he manages to film the Chasers without them seeing it.
@@Mittnamnarupptaget OK I think I got you. Something like a 30 minute freeze if the runner takes a picture first and sends it to the chasers.

Sam choke to speak facts and just summarized the life story of more than half of the world's population at 6 AM
Hey Jetlag Team. Could you do a Tag Eur IT for five days and with a biger Radius? I think IT would be awesom. Love your videos

Good idea?
