K-Hood just bought her girlfriend one for her birthday this month. They drove it from Atlanta to New Orleans she said you have to stop too many times she'll never put it on the highway again not worth it at all she complained. They also make a Kia, a Ford and a Hyundai that are electric cars. Before you decide on Tesla. Probably other brands too. That's all I know about.
My opinion on the Tesla! Tesla makes different models and the reason why some have to stop multiple times for charge because they may have the standard model and not the long range! Everyone has their opinion but, overall it’s a reliable vehicle and I recommend contacting a Tesla advisor before listening to mixed reviews! Aunty Carla looks really good in this vehicle! 💙💙💙💙
Don’t worry about the naysayers in the comments. Majority of the people are only going by what they’ve read online & the medias opinions. My wife’s model 3 is going on 3 years now with 0 problems whatsoever. The only service related issues we had were the 12 volt battery (replaced under warranty-$125 without warranty) & the lines replaced on the rear window for defrost. That’s literally it. We’ve enjoyed her car so much I purchase one last year and I love it. We’re getting ready to trade hers in for an X soon. It’s an amazing car. After about a month or so owning one, you wont have the urge to drive anything else. I’m a former truck driver, much respect to you ladies!

If that battery goes bad. It will cost a new car to replace it. Not to mention, good luck on service repairs. Tesla has to keep your car for months. Just keep renting them
I love tesla cars. I got my first one in 2021 new model 3 long range and didn’t have any problems. Last August a 18 wheeler hit me from behind and because tesla have camera’s all around the car (24 hours recording on sentry mode) and saved the footage I had proof the 18 wheeler was at fault. Their insurance decided to total my car and pay the rest of my loan and I got another new 2023 long range again. I charge my car in my house in the garage and I barely see a change on my electric bill. Yes to replace the battery is expensive but by the time you need the new battery you probably will be ready for a new car anyway and your car would be at over 200,000 to 500,000 miles. Plus the warranty is the life of the car. Battery warranty 120,000 miles. Since it’s no transmission you don’t get oil changes. The brakes will last the life of the car because your not using them with the regenerated braking. You can save the money you usually pay for an oil change/gas and use it to buy a new battery in the future.

There are recalls on many cars. I have two vehicles. I have an Audi suv and they’ve had more recalls than my Tesla. I have a model X and love it, no promise what so ever
AND they were just in the news because the Charging stations were out on one of the coldest days not to long ago too and ppl where stuck cause they couldn't charge their cars 😬
I don’t think you should you have to get those cars charged for 30 minutes to an hour that’s waste of time. If you’re traveling on the road I’m going to keep my big truck tundra.
EV's like any other vehicle have their up and downsides. Me personally I would check into other EV's and pass up on a Tesla. If purchasing an EV best to purchase brand new. Once the battery goes and it's not under warranty you best be looking at purchasing another vehicle. 20 grand or more for replacement EV batteries. Enjoy your experience. I would suggest doing a lot of research on Tesla vehicles and EVs in general. And drive some other EVs from other car makers before you pull the trigger. A good guy to follow on UA-cam is MKBHD. In addition to his normal tech channel he also has an autofill focus channel where he reviews a lot of EVs.
The amount of time you have to put into charging it is not worth it. I hate it 30 minutes every time you have to pull over is ridiculous. Then finding charging stations can be annoying and they are in sketchy places. I wouldn’t recommend
Who wants to waste time having to stop 2-3 times to CHARGE A CAR? I never thought in my lifetime that we as a society would be charging cars like remote controlled toys.
For me I loved the technology - the mapping, the tracking, the trip planning, the beautiful screen and the ease of driving. I hated the stopping to charge on short trips. I could not do long trips. My average electric bill plan was hit different as well. I will say I thought it was an upgrade from my Prius that was my commuter car. It didn’t check that box for me. I will give it a few more years when supposedly Panasonic comes out with a more affordable long range battery. One day I may go back.
I rented a Tesla few months back it takes way too long to charge and the battery doesn’t last too long if you drive alot. The windows fogged up on me in the blink of a eye while on the highway in the rain, I had to hurry up and get on the shoulder until I could figure out how to use the defogger. I prefer manual control and not everything on the screen.
@@nicandcarla the repairs alone is going to really set you back i know someone that had one and got rid of it the batteries are more than the car when he got the invoice for repairs he told them to keep the car

Look into the electric Mercedes before you decide to buy the Tesla. If you live somewhere that’s not cold then go for it .
