How to turn off seatbelt warning in FORD vehicles.

- In this video we show how to turn off seatbelt warning and a Ford truck. This should work for most Ford vehicles.
In my videos I talk about my experience daily driving my 2020 F450. My truck has updated 6.7 Powerstroke with 1,050 LB-FT of Torque and 475hp. I also feature my 2019 F250 with the 6.2 L gas v8. Comment below and thanks for watching!

Engage Emergency Brake
Drivers door shut
Turn the key on.
See seatbelt light - wait for it to go off.
Latch and unlatch seat belt 4 times
Seat Belt light blinks to indicate mode active
Latch and unlatch seat belt once more
Warning chime should be permanently off

Worked on my new 2023 F150
For Ford Maverick this is a little different: For Driver's Seat:
1. Before starting the procedure, make sure your parking brake is on.
2. Get inside of the driver's seat and close the door.
3. Turn the ignition to ON but not start (key position 2, or press push to start button without your foot on the brake if you have a push to start button).
4. Wait 5 seconds, then buckle and unbuckle the seatbelt 3 times with a 1 second pause between each buckle. Wait 4 seconds, then buckle and unbuckle again. The orange/red seatbelt warning light should flash a couple times indicating that the procedure worked and was completed successfully.
5. Voila, if that didn't work, try repeating the procedure with the parking brake OFF.
For Passenger Seat:
1. Same thing, make sure parking brake is on.
2. Grab another person.
3. Sit in the driver's seat, have your helper sit in the passenger seat, and close the doors.
4. Turn the ignition to ON but not start (key position 2, or press push to start button without your foot on the brake if you have a push to start button).
5. Have your passenger do the same procedure listed in step 4 of the driver's seat procedure or do it for them as they are sitting (Wait 5 seconds, then buckle and unbuckle the seatbelt 3 times with a 1 second pause between each buckle. Wait 4 seconds, then buckle and unbuckle again. The orange/red seatbelt warning light should flash a couple times indicating that the procedure worked and was completed successfully.)
6. Voila, if that didn't work try repeating the procedure with the parking brake OFF.
This worked for me on my 2022 Expedition thank you sooooo much!!!!!!

I didn’t have that problem until I had a Q Straint to lock in my power chair in the passenger seat installed. Would this procedure work the same?

Any way I can take the second row seats out of 2022 Expedition and not have the airbag sensor on? Is there a bypas connector or something?
If you remove the rear seats and unclip the rear seat belt sensors is there a "dummy" clip that will make it seem like its all connected so the message will not show up on the dash every time you start your truck
Does this work with the parking brake chime on an e450 2022? Parking brake is all jacked up. It thinks it's on when it's not. The dinging is driving me nuts

There are so many parameters that can be programmed to specific keys. Things like speed and volume control for teens. Could be your key has a program on it preventing you from turning out the radio.

What if the seatbelt sensor is broken?
In 1 million years an archaeologist may dig up a Ford pick up. They may get one in good enough shape where they can try and make things work, but only two things in the vehicle will work with guaranteed certainty. The check engine light and the seatbelt chime.
But why does the lightning come on Because on my ka the light will not come on

I can personally confirm that this works on a 2010 F150. It works on Ford transit. It works on Ford E series. This will also work on Ford F250 and F350s.

What is meant by depressed?
Push the pedal. Given that the only sensor associated with the parking brake as far as the ECM is concerned is the switch that turns the brake light on, then depressing the parking brake pedal at least far enough such that the brake light would be lit if you started the vehicle, then the pedal is depressed insofar as following the instructions in the video.

Now Ford needs a easy way to turn off the double honk with key fob in pocket warning a similar way. Definitely the worst part about the truck, even more than having a plastic trans pan with zero protection on a heavy duty truck. Come on Ford🤨
There is a way
You have to do that with Forscan. You download it for free, then buy a license, I think the lifetime license is ~$50 last I checked. The license allows you to alter the as built data. There’s all sorts of things you can change, and there are spreadsheets online that show you what to change for which features👍

Four definitely succeeded in making the most annoying truck.
I just bought a buckle from Amazon that plugs into where you would normally plug your belt in. No more ding-ding. Why would you go through all this BS?
Because it doesn't require buying anything to use that would necessarily make using the seatbelt more cumbersome if there was something blocking the buckle to remove and hopefully not misplace.
Then the nonsense in the form of a seatbelt alarm, that increases in obnoxiousness if you don't buckle up after the initial alarm, just doesn't happen any more.
And if you happen to be pulled over you don't have a device in your buckle that the officer will tend to perceive as an aggravating circumstance if he sees that you dare to spend money to make it easier to be a criminal.
Given that they're trained to see themselves as soldiers in a war against everyone in society, and that we're all to be treated as though we are armed, and that we intend to be criminals, and that we intend to kill police, we don't benefit from having the tools of a criminal just blatantly blocking the seatbelt buckle.
Don't tempt the blue line gang members to feel the need to self-identify as a black-and-blue line gang like it has for the entirety of their existence. As a police force that believes it is staffed by soldiers, and not by civilians, like a legitimate police agency projecting legitimate authority would self-identify.
Are you serious it literally took 2 min and it was free. Instead of going and ordering it waiting for it then installing it. Your way sounds like a bunch of bs to me
