The 2000e was a good mower but my favorite Stiga Park is the 2002 that came out in the middle of the 80s. I had one with hydrostatic transmission a few years ago. The cutting deck was bad and it needed som TLC but other that that it was working great. Good video, I will check out the rest of your videos.
Hi Nils, Thanks, I have seen the Stiga 2002. I didn't know much about that one. It does.look very similar to mine. I liked the hydrostatic trans. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@JourneymanRandy they are quite similar but the 2002 is a bit more modern with a transaxle instead of separating gearbox/differential. They were also available with mulching deck.
That is a cool old machine, from the days we actually made things here in Canada. I hear you about the annoyance of using belts on yard tractors, my late wife used to smoke belts on a regular basis on our old Yard-Man. At $75 a crack, we went through 2-3 per summer till I got the Kubota.
Hey Randy, great to see you still busy, I know there’s all ways things to fix, or replace. Great to see the summer’s in full swing. Have a great week mate.
In 1974 STIGA launched the first Park 2000, a self-propelled tractor-mower with cutting deck at the front that revolutionized the way turf was cut in the Nordic countries. They were also sold in Canada and still are today.

Thanks for the video! I'm trying to figure out how to get the drive belt off of (or back on) my Noma Canadiana/ Stiga Park 2002-12E but can't seem to find any manuals anywhere. The motor/transmission configuration seems to be slightly different from yours but I have no idea how to get the belt off of the motor shaft.. I suppose it's possible that the tensioner pully that's attached to the clutch pedal needs to come off but I don't know for sure.
Hi, I have a similar mower but the problems I have is that it is very Difficult to steer and when I turn it doesnt move to ythe direction I want it to turn. Please what could be the problem? does any parts need replacement? what part and part number+ Thanks a lot in advance and looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thank, Ese
I've never seen a lawnmower like that before. Pretty cool looking
Thanks Silver Cat. Its sure is. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Thanks Daz. We are getting great weather now. Lots of jobs are getting done. Take care you too have a great week
This machine could be an early 1980's model. So it could be close to 40 years old. Wow it's still going.
Thanks for watching
