This video had me rolling! True to life. Mom tries to do something and instantly all the kids need something. Great system and great job Mama. God bless!
Hi! Welcome to homeschooling mama!!! I do curriculum for a core or foundation and then I also do print outs for supplemental work but it depends on the age of your child. My littles i do print out to bring that subject or concent to life. I mostly use "Fun hands on learning" for that. She's on youtube and have a bunch of amazing videos. For my 7th graders I buy flashcards for him to study independently. Let me know if you have any more questions or a video request to help you visualize something specific. Your going to do an awesome job!
J&G Family Life that makes sense. My son will be in the 7th grade and my little girl will be 3 in November. For him I was thinking of doing A-Z raz kids for the reading. Teaching textbooks for math. And I’m deciding between the phonefic zoo or explode the code for phonics. And then I guess expand on that with worksheets? Idk. It just seems hard. Idk how to plan all of that and what days. Not to mention what about learning about the weather or space or little things like that? Lol. If I knew how to plan it out and on what days to do what it would probably be easier.
I looked at raz kids, it seems fun. You can also look up reading egg express, thats what my son did and actually finishing through this summer xause I found out reading reading level/comprehension wasnt good so we switched to that doing his entire 6th grade year to catch him up. They have a free trial as well. Teaching textbooks is amazing, we will probably be doing that going forward lol. Your son is going into 7th grade so he probably don't need phonics, is he having trouble with reading or comprehension like mine did? You can just get a book like the encyclopedia of space or weather for kids and do like a youtube Playlist for weather or space. Thats what I did 😆 I just took that book and broke it up in sections, we read about it out loud and then i had him watch UA-cam videos to bring it to life cause i was clueless and still is on alot of stuff 😆 shoot, I feel like in back in school learning right along with my kids cause I done forgot ALL this stuff 😆 so thats how you plan it out and then i did 4 days a week. Last year I did like mon and Tues history and wed Thurs science but that ended up not working for us so this year I'm doing 1 full semester of history and then doing a full semester of science so I only have to plan for i subject at a time and we can just focus on that one. Breathe, your going to do great! My 1st full year which was last year I ended up buying BJU press full box curriculum and all his subjects where on DVD and he had teachers that taught him every subject and all I had to do was facilitate and grade so u can start there to take the pressure off you a little. Through the school year you'll notice whats working and what you need to change. It depends on how hands on you want to be. You can also look up on youtube how to do a unit study on weather or the human body or space and you will get a lot of options that way as well. Ask your son what he's interested in learning as well and he will let you know his thoughts as far as what subjects he wants to learn 1st and things like that. I include my 7th graders in alot of my choices regarding what I would choose like for language this year it was between IEW and EIW and I let him watch the examples of both and he choose what he like based off the example teacher videos we watched. Hope this helps. Let me know what other questions you have. Talk to u soon. 😁
Hey love! My base is abeka for him and the rest is fun hands on learning which is a youtube channel but she has a hands on curriculum. Then we loop geography, sign language, interactive alphabet notebook, homer app (daily), and a couple more things. Hopefully this answers your question. Maybe I can do a lesson plan with me video. Would that help?
