    Episode 57: Japan Airlines, also known as JAL, is an international airline and Japan's flag carrier.
    Its main hubs are Tokyo's Narita International Airport and Haneda Airport, as well as Osaka's Kansai
    International Airport and Itami Airport.
    JAL was established in 1951 1st of August and became the national airline of Japan in 1953.

    I love these videos; they bring back so many memories. I remember flying JAL in the mid-/late-50s (both the DC-6 and the DC-7). At that time, they had a very subtle slogan that spoke volumes painted next to the main cabin door: "The wings of the new Japan." Thanks so much for sharing this with us.
