Full reaction on PATREON! www.patreon.com/pawniepun Also I thought Predator was the sequel but I realized later that that's a completely different franchise 😅 Will soon watch Aliens!
I'd also recommend reacting to the 1988 American science fiction horror comedy Killer Klowns from Outer Space. It's about an invasion of aliens who look, act, and have technology based on clowns. The Klowns come to Earth in order to capture, kill, and harvest the humans in a small town. It's a fun movie if you've never seen it, and it has a lot of cool creature effects done by the Chiodo Brothers. The Chiodo Brothers also wrote and directed the movie. It's a fun ride like this one. Just an absolute blast and it's perfect for summer right now.
I saw this when it was first released in the UK. People in the cinema were stunned before no one had seen anything like this before. When it was released, it was given the old UK X certificate rating, which meant that no one under the age of eighteen could see it. Because of the practical effects with built sets, model work, and matte paintings, it still looks brilliant, whereas a modern film using CGI can date very quickly as the technology continues to advance. There are plenty of great stories surrounding this film. During production, Ridley Scott was always under pressure by the film company regarding budgef and the schedule. On one occasion, they sent some executives over to the film studio in the UK to see Ridley, he took the opportunity to show them parts of the film, including the chestburster scene apparently at least one (maybe more) rushed out and threw up in the studio car park. Also, to increase the tension amongst the actors, Ridley got the set crew every day to slightly reduce the width of the corridors of the spaceship. Since you've seen an "old" science fiction film, can I suggest what is considered to be the greatest Science Fiction film in history and one of the most influential film of all time . 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)
wow! i appreciate some behind the scenes knowledge~ haha i have seen that one when i was younger already but it would be interesting to see it as an adult again!
One of the best horror movies and the scariest science fiction movies. You'll love Aliens and Predator. They're pretty action packed, yet they still have good scares and great horror scenes. I'd also recommend checking out the movies It! The Terror from Beyond Space, and Planet of the Vampires. Both movies heavily inspired Alien, and a lot of ideas were taken from them for the script. Alien honestly is almost a complete remake of It! The Terror from Beyond Space. Great reaction 🙂
its a totally different situaltion, its a shootup action flick. this is cosmic horror, clausterphobia. They are different movies. If you prefer one to the other, then yes, "better" is you opinion.
Only watching new films is like saying you only eat McDonald's. They're all the same now because they're all made by film students who were taught the same stuff. Older films are more experimental and original sometimes because they're made by artists. Even Martin Scorcessessee said in an interview Hollywood lacks artists the one man with a camera auteur because they're scared to take a risk.

That was a nice reaction. Predator is great, but I hope you´re gonna react to Aliens too. It has more action and better special effects :)
