My Filipino girlfriend of 13 years has an appointment for a US tourist visa in March 2024. Due to rapidly declining health my US citizen mother requires a caregiver 24/7, ASAP. Does applying for an H-B2 visa conflict or reflect poorly because of the tourist visa application?

Great info as usual! I’ve been researching for Agencies that are interested in me recruiting for live in summer and hospice caregivers. Would this qualify for temporary or Seasonal if I can show it’s indeed temporary?
It's tough. The caregiver option for H-2Bs has been successful for us with individual families and individual caregivers. We can show need is temporary based on the needs of the person needing care. Once you start scaling it up to an agency, it does not work as well, because at that point it is hard to show that the agency's needs are not year round. I've tried to do it for a home health company once, and I did not succeed.

I have a question as an independent family I would like to apply for a nanny for my toddler because I work 12.30 hours shift and my partner as well. We live in Wyoming in a small town where don’t have many options to take our toddler to evening care also I tried to hire a nanny here we didn’t receive one applicant. My question is do I have to create a company in the state of Wyoming to have the FEIN number that is asking me in the ETA 9141.
You do not. You can apply for EIN as a sole proprietor or a household employer on the IRS EIN website. Choose the option to receive the digital copy right away. It takes 5 minutes.
@@DamjanDenoble I started this application because I followed you on December 15, 2021, your videos are so helpful thanks a lot. I already sent the job order to the foreign labor certification program manager in Wyoming, he told me this is the first time he is having an application for this H2B program. I sent my job order with the FEIN from my W2 form And he told me I can’t use that one so I already applied for the FEIN through IRS as you suggested me to do. My order question to you the Foreign Labor Certification Program Manager told me I have to contact the unemployment tax division and Wyoming workers compensations. I would like to talk to you because I don’t have clear steps why I need to talk to these departments, I spoke with someone in the workforce department she told me I have to register a business in Wyoming state for me to be able to have my job order approved. You told me I don’t have to register a company name in Wyoming. Please how can I get in contact with you so you can drive me through the job order steps? Thanks

That's great to hear. Can we just employ the nanny that we personally know without going through an agency?
@@light7786 yeah we can employ someone we know but we still have to go through the agency because POEA does not allow direct hire

Hello. My brother is possibling comming on i130 visa but unfortunatly he got divorced three years ago and his kids are living with our elder sister. Father is affording living expenses but our sister is actually dealing with the minor kids as their real mother. last two kids even do not know that they are living with some one else than their biological mother. kids of sister are grown up but she want to help her brother untill he can find a nice woman for him or till the minors grow up. in this case how he can arrange documents to get visa for sister as a Nanny please?
