I was a hardcore crowen shipper, but in the end their love was toxic. I was sad Cristina left, but I got over it surprisingly fast. She was one of my favorite characters, but so is Owen and I am glad for him that she is gone because now he can move on. And I love Amelia and Owen together, I waited for this episode to happen since season 11 started. :D I have never shipped anything so fast either. :D

I don't think she pushed him against the knob, if you focus you can see that when they zoom in, the second part could be another take, so if she did push him against the door knob, they probably cut it there :)

I just love this episode! Adore it. Seriously, it's my favourite one, and it tells something when it's 20+ seasons show🤣 I love it for Owen and Ruby in the first place. He is great with kids, even when they are complete strangers. Could you imagine how hard it is to make a kid trust you so much that the girl used knife on her mother just because man on the phone told her? And how hard it is to even try to lead kid through this understending possible bad outcome? He knew Ruby could kill the woman or paralyze her. And he had enough courage to take a risk. But I also love this episode for Owen and Amelia. Not even on-call room, but the momen when she pulled her hand on his shoulder. There was nothing about sex or flirting in this, just pure support. Not friendly, something more. But not a loved one yet. Someone who is already important, who you care about. And the way he watched this hand. So much appreciation, so much thanks in his eyes. And the hug, of course. Not the hug itself, with anyone else it would be just a gesture of happines after saving a family. But with Owen it's different. The way she moves her hand over his arm, the way she smells him like she needs feel him as much as she can. I love this moment. And on-call room, yes😁 Have to admit, I love it too. Guilty. Oh, and Ed Sheeran's song. It adds something very meaningful to the moment. I've been listening to it for a few days now. And it repeats every time I watch this episode.
To be honest, I wasn't that surprised. Like, I jumped when BOOM, sudden make out in on-call room after hugging, but I was also kinda glad. That episode was INTENSE. If I had been Amelia, I would've been exhausted after being so wound up. I was on the edge of my seat watching the whole time. And they kissed two episodes ago (that's like basically ages in GA time). And after Herman's tumour and walking an 11-year old through a procedure and then having the line cut. And then the agonizing waiting period for Ruby to call back?? I think there was just so much pressure, anxiety and intensity, and build-up (especially when you notice Amelia just practically falling in love even more with Owen while he spoke with so much patience and kindness to the child)... that I don't think they could've stayed in a room together longer, much less make eye-contact or even touch, without doing exactly what happened on that scene. I think Owen just that sudden realization that maybe he just didn't want to let go of her yet... ;) Now, what I really don't want the writers to screw up is the following: 1. Discussing Owen's PTSD / Amelia's addiction 2. Cristina Yang 3. Derek's reaction 4. Meredith's reaction 5. THE SCENE IMMEDIATELY AFTER THIS ONE. There better be a direct continuation of this on the next episode or else! Ugh. I just can't wait till Thursday. This is torture! End of rant.
Even if I watched that scene a lot of times since I watch Owen hug Amelia I feel that Hug. Is too much chemistry, too much feelings, too mucho conection. I love it. I thing they fall in love, they just have to realize it.
For all the Strange Things fans here, I was watching the episode again knowing that Ruby's played by Millie and when Owen asked Ruby at the beginning how old is she and she said "Eleven" I literally cried out loud.
Hmm. I used to love Cristina and Owen. Cristina was my favourite character and I was so sad when I find out she would leave the show. I was close to stop watching it. But now I think I like Owen almost as much as I used to like Cristina. And I don't know why, but he's so hot! I love his kiss scenes. All of them. With Cristina and now with Amelia, although they are completely different.
It was certainly hot, but I must say I'm a little disappointed. I was expecting their first time to be something special, with a lot of buildup and a long, beautiful scene like the one Crowen had back in s5. I wished for something more than 15 seconds of them making out and moving towards a bed in an on-call room... That wasn't lovemaking, that was a hookup, just something thrown in there to move the plot along. And if there's a time jump between this and next week's episode, we don't even get to see how they were afterwards, it's just like "Yea, we slept together, no big deal, happens all the time". I was excited when it looked like the writers were really going to take their time with Omelia, but now it seems they're going to have them do whatever the plot calls for. Whatever happened to going on dates and having a little romance before jumping in the sack?
I wish they would have had a longer scene to and it seems like the next episode is going to be tomorrow on the show. I think the build up was all the moments then shared. It seems like they hugged and just couldn't resist each other, also explains why it wasn't a slow romantic scene.
Oh Amelia needed some stress relieving sex. Her shoulders were tense in the Herman surgery. I wish they would have had sex before that surgery maybe Herman would not be blind.
Googaify When has a scene like this not lead to off-screen sex, especially in an on-call room? Scenes like this are used to inform audiences that the characters are going to have sex without showing the actual sex. Mark my words: if next weeks episode doesn't include a time jump between episodes, Owen and Amelia are going to be lying naked under covers, basking in the afterglow... or collecting their clothes, feeling ashamed if the writers decide to take the "we shouldn't have done that" path.

I think derek will freak! I also think that Cristina will come between them, at some point because everyone else knows how intense their relationship was and when amelia finds out she will have her doubts. Lots of drama ahead I think! X

I agree, which is hard to admit because I am a big crowen fan (SO & KMK acting together was superb) but as Cristina has left Owen needs to move on properly or there is no point! I just hope that Shona doesn't build up another relationship for Owen, get us hooked and then tear it apart again like she did with Crowen! That would be cruel x

I loved Cristina, but I was kind of glad she left because when she was there I still wanted her to be with Owen and at the same time knew that it was not possible because they wanted different things. It is so much fun to ship Amelia and Owen now because they are an OTP that hopefully won't break my heart! :D

Jackson and april will always be my fav on the show, but Im really liking owen and amelia! I hope to see more of them growing as a couple on the show.
