I recommend replacing the pilot bushing whenever replacing the clutch. its not a bearing, its bronze. I would also replace the rear main seal. If the customer will buy it. Nice Job
I have to replace the PVC Valve(rubber grommets) when I replaced the PVC, is between the PVC and breather separator, the rubber vale was so bad and crumble, most of pieces was fall into the breather separator, I didn't take them out before I replaced the new PVC, This this matter?
It's possible your noise was in the transmission. Unless the bearing kept getting bent when being pressed onto the carrier. Just need to be careful and use all the correct size pieces with the hydraulic press. I wish they made it easier.
This vid was very helpful, just swapped in a new clutch in my son's identical (down to the color) Frontier using your cues. It didn't look like you needed to orient the flywheel, we didnt either. I assume the crank position sensor in the bell housing gets its signal from the flywheel, but we didn't see anything obvious. Do you know what triggers that sensor? Ours runs great, no issues, just curious. Again, thanks for the great tutorial.
Great, straightforward video. Gonna be tough to do this solo off jackstands, but I'll figure something out. Thanks for the videos.
Did you figure it out?
The job looks more difficult than expected! Love the last clips of the mountain climb!
A true no nonsense professional. As always, 👍
Thanks bro 🙏

do these have a pilot bearing?

How do you put one of these together without the throwout bearing rattling I've tried four times and gave up....sold it...got auto

@@SkillCollectors the bearing was already mounted to the carrier with luk kit.... It sounds like a boat motor in between each gear
👏👏👏
Where are you guys? I got a 04 Frontier needing a clutch. What was the tab for that job?
What a view
Gotta love the west!

I had the same question,of the Crank position sensor how the flywheel send the signal to the sensor?
I do a lot of diy stuff to my cars but this is probably one I don’t want to mess with. I might just have to pay somebody $1400
Great video!!!
Thanks, glad it was helpful
