They have already talked about this. They like the idea but there's a large amount of behind the scenes coding changes that where required and putting that effort into other projects was better for the game.

the only reason i dont do clues sometimes is because i have to leave a boss to do it. like just let me stack up to 3 or something then i can finish my trip at least
stackable clues would be great in osrs.. i think capped tho so maybe like start at 5 and each tier of CA's completed is +5 ur able 2 stack or something i know it locks out tons of people but hey gives a reason to grind out some CA's

Rs3 has stackable clue up to 25 i think. Each one comes in a scroll box and become individual clues when you open them. For the short time i played rs3 it was genuinely a good system and made the process more fun.

Maybe there would be a raisable cap, like normally you can only have one, but for every tier of the achievement diary you complete you could save one more. Like completing the easy tier for varrock lets you store +1 easy clues, then if you complete Falador easy diary you could save +2. Then with every combat achievement you’ve completed the cap raises to +5. Masters and beginners would not be raised, and if it would be it would only be from combat achievements.
With the RS3 players changing over to OSRS, I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if stackable clues where a thing and because we had it in the past leagues.
Stackable clues based on achievement diaries, but also with the ability to drop or discard a clue in the stack if we dont want to/cant do a certain step.
I have said to my partner stackable clues 100% should be introduced but not as a get go thing, clue scroll boxes like on leagues should be something added to perhaps Hard/Elite combat tiers or even just and the clue scroll box to the selected clue (easy combats means you get easy clues more frequently it should be added that these clues will come stackable) Perhaps even make it optional aswel, I know people have worked hard on clues and interrupting their gameplay to go do them but let's face it we would all prefer a opportunity to stack clues rather than juggle them on the ground or leave a instance to go do a clue, especially now it's going to tell us all the missed opportunities to get one.

stackable clues 1000% need to happen. No one likes to gear up and manage inventory for a 10-20 minute clue then gear up for whatever you were doing before. They work so well in leagues.

I honestly don’t want stackable clues. Clues are a nice distraction/break whenever you get them and if they’re stackable, I wouldn’t really have any incentive to do them. They’d just sit in the bank and then it’d feel like a chore to do them
The craws bow was dropped by the imp that was killed by a bot which teleported as one of the pures logged in. Because you was logged in at the time, it appeared for you, but not them👍.

Just make it impossible to get clues from imps if you have a clue already. That way they can only be stacked from pvm / slayer and at least this way they are still somewhat difficult to stack up

Dudes and dudets, here me out. I have completed the Easy Combat Diarys on my ironman. So in the Gwd, I killed 1,005 Goblins in search of a Goblin Champion Scroll, and Easy Clue Clue Scrolls. The drop rate should be 1/64, HOWEVER, I only received 2 Clues in this kc and no beginner clues 1/80. My bank does not have any in there and I ended up with no clues my last trip at 461 kc. 0.0 wtf is that jagex?
I think stackable clues belong in the main game 🤔 I don't see how it would be broken or overpowered. Seems more like a very good and convenient QoL change.

I hate non stackable clues. It's just bad design. Especially for slayer. Having to stop a jellies task every 5 kills strip naked and gear up for potential wildy steps which is damn near 100% chance per clue, is beyond annoying. Maybe have a cap to how many you can hold,but honestly I don't think it's broken in any way to let them stack infinitely. People can cry and Moan all day long about potentially reducing clue value, but that can be remedied with better drops in the clue. Perhaps some that don't lose value
i opened an easy clue today without dropping my current master (need zgs for step). thought oh well fuck it the chances were low anyways. i got the popup saying i would have received a master….. subsequently was pissed but also wondered when tf was that added 😂😂 now i know
Stackable clues was a bad decision for RS3 IMO. I'm noticing Jagex are pushing osrs down the same route as they did with RS3. Slowly turning the heat up, next thing you know it you'll have cosmetics and more MTX ingame. Mod Pips is coming for you osrs.

Stackable clues are fine. Being forced to do them when you get them, or drop them entirely to get another is just annoying.
Would be awesome to have stackable clues. A cap could be added to say max 5-10 clue scrolls at a time. Keeps pvm of afk skilling alot nicer.
