"The quest did nothing to resolve the instability of the realms." -Ah, clearly Taven understands how sequels work.
Too bad Konquest isn't canon. Shao Kahn's arcade ending was what triggered MK9
@@flashn00b To me Doing a Reboot made complete sense as After Armageddon there was nothing left to work with and sometimes Reboots need to happen if there nothing left to work with
@@comicbookreviewer4856Just make a Post Mk Armageddon Game about Liu Kangs and Kitanas Child and Have Taven and Shujinko Survive and Train the Child to Defeat Blaze Powered Shao Kahn
MK1 simply implies that the Armaggedon cycle did not stop, Shao Kahn was just one of many
@@flashn00bit technically is canon remember MK 11 it was made clear there was multiple past timelines and some are parallel so Taven winning Armageddon is canon just not the timeline we are following and instead have a alt version where Shao Kahn wins
5:51 Blaze (Mortal Kombat 1-7): Now face me... in MORTAL KOMBAT!
Always gives me chills such a cool character hope he comes back 1 day.

And then Shao Kahn ended up defeating both Taven and Blaze
Incorrect, the third unknown outcome of the Blaze's energy passed to Shao Kahn that made him survive Onaga and then almost kill Raiden.
I cant remember were but I read that the new "canon" was that Taven was to late to challenge Blaze and Shao Khan had ended up defeating blaze and claiming the power before he could ever get there.
I think what happened is Shao Kahn got to Blaze first. Konquest mode is just an elaborate prequel to the Arcade mode since it ends with Blaze erecting the pyramid.
@@Bronx1875where did u hear that?
@@brennerdivino8670How would that be incorrect. If shao Kahn did not kill Taven then only Raiden or anybody else who was still alive (which was probably barely anyone) at the time would have killed him. The only person Taven could’ve gotten killed by was Raiden, Shinnok, Mileena, or Quan Chi, As far as Onaga goes, we don’t know if Shao simply escaped or killed him so we don’t know if Onaga even ever made it close again to the pyramid again. Also the people I named were at the top of the pyramid so it leads me to believe they lasted the longest after Shang Tsung dies to Zombie Liu Kang. Of course this is just 1 way look at it. I don’t all the way agree with this.
Argus: my son will make things right.
Taven: 'makes things worse'
Argus: Son of a bitch!
😆😆😆😆
Taven: Son of you-- so you bitc--
Blaze got corrupted by Onaga's Holy Men
So the conquest mode was just a long version of the battle mode. Damn
it's basically like a Story Mode either way
Armageddon have the best intro and best ending
what cause blaze to explode after defeating him
Canonically the sword that Taven used.
Love how when Taven walks through the archway, you can hear them all fighting at the bottom. Shouting, roaring and swords clashing.
Such an epic moment. Truly feels like the end of the story.
I like to think of it like this...
Taven (since he's good) = Stripping all the other characters of their special abilities
Daegon (since he's evil) = Killing all the characters
Either way, if Deagon won, he will still be severely punished
I wonder if Rain was supposed to be the side where everyone gets stripped from their powers
Maybe he took their powers for himself. Which would explain how he enslaved edenia so quickly.
He was never part of the quest
It is confirmed in Raven’s ladder ending where Argus states that the unforeseen result was caused by Blaze corruption from Onaga’s holy men but it wouldn’t surprise me that Rain did affect the prophecy
@@Gazpacho834so according to the original ending as Taven beat Blaze, what happened to the other combatants?
Besides mortal Kombat deception, Armageddon was also my favorite game with the best finale of mortal Kombat.
I didn’t understand. What was the third unforeseen outcome?I mean was anything destroyed? or everything continued to be what it was like before? What happened exactly?
After this is Reboot, mortal Kombat vs DC is a prequel uncanon
In Taven's ending in Arcade Mode, Argus (the Narrator) revealed that Taven's victory was supposed to strip the kombatants of their powers, but because Blaze was captured and corrupted by Onaga's holy men years prior (and indirectly leading to Caro waking up Daegon prematurely), it led to the third unforeseen outcome where the kombatants were made stronger instead. Long story short, the quest was doomed from the start or rather, it was doomed even before it began.
Daegon is the Alter Ego of Kratos man
