Well of COURSE he took the 4. He's running a ProCharger and basically not held back at all, right? Let's see...2 more years of progressively more Prochargers before Turbo shows up for 1 285 or 325 and they blast it back into Turbo hell. Liberty is what is making it possible. Admittedly that transmission is above the 2 and 3 speeds. You can't even hear it shifting or bog as someone drops from 8,300 down to 6.800 or something. Annnd the screws will keep showing up while the roots are nowhere to be seen. (surprised look). You know, it'd be COOL if the race rules people could get an even field one of these times. 3.5 or 3.6 or maybe a low 7 for everybody??
@@LoociferZ yeah, Stevie fast and Tim McAmis have talked about this as well.. hopefully they get the parity figured out.. some day.. I won't take away from teams working there bits of to figure this out and get there though. :) But yeah.. hell of a pass, and they usually never get parity solved properly or it takes forever..w/ pretty much any sanctioning body
Just think about this… If he was racing the worlds quickest Lambo which runs. 6.98 @ 211 in an 1/4mile… He’d be about 260’ ahead of the Lambo when he hit the 1/8 !!!!!!!
This run was magical, the entire run, not just one part of it; even more impressive is the ability and know-how demonstrated by the team campaigning this car. They knew their package very well, and they got on top of the race track in a commanding manner. They’ve got honest to goodness momentum, and their trajectory points to an amazing path. Congratulations to everyone on-board making their successes possible 👍🏻
Actually, ProCharger is pretty much untethered right now so it's winning...well everywhere. This has NOTHING to do with them because I assure you that more people bought ProChargers last year than any other type of engine combo other than sitting on Turbos/Nitrous and HOPING for an absolutely flawless run. Ocean has been running P/C since almost the beginning so it's not a surprise they broke 3.4. Momentum? Trajectory points? WTF are you talking about? They run the latest power adder, it's TOO STRONG compared to the others (which is evidenced by Screw Blowers on a lot of those cars going to P/C. I guess they all are carrying some sort of Mythical Momentum? Some Tasty Trajectory points. Bro, get off whatever you're on. Ocean has a ginormous budget and free ProChargers/P/C hemis(i bet..don't know for sure on the hemi but I just bet) Sorry but some of us watch and pay attention to things. 3.4 is too fast except that they have the glue about 1/4 inch thick. Those cars would be into the wall at the cone without all the glue.
the .889 60' and 1.17 back half is fucking insane. i know it's not the first or the fastest but at 2600lbs he has a lot of head room to go much faster. incredible stuff from jason
I have never seen a DoorSlammer leave that hard😲 that’s nuts!!! 5 speed with lockup sounds like it shifts 6 times🤦♂️ every 100’ 😂the thing shifts 4 times on the burn out 😳
jason lee owns the fastest radial pass even though one of the promods have managed to run around 3.48-3.4x but im not sure if it used slicks or radials even though it uses hoosier tires
Am I the only one who noticed how shallow Jason staged on the 3.499 pass? It was definitely the difference between 3.499 and 3.5xx. His RT took a bit of a hit, but since he was on a single it didn't matter.

Spoken like someone that isn't running 3.4s...
That was one helluva run!! Congratulations to Jason Lee and his team!!! Awesome job
All we could do is sit there and stare. We couldn't believe what we just saw.
.889 60 ft time @ 2600 lbs...pretty impressive!
Pretty Impressive????

Awesome 👏🏻 simply amazing
Damn she was riding
Holy Crap the 60’ foot is Fuel Funny car fast on a hot track!
Congratulations 🎉 👏 ! That sound it makes, so smooth for a Dragster.
Sick! You are pretty good at doin stuff.
THE PERFECT RUN IS HERE. FROM A PERFECT LIGHT TO A NEW RECORD ON RADIALS. AWESOME
Hell Yeah!!! CONGRATS ON THE RECORD. THIS CAR IS Bad Ass FAST
The amount of resources and time it takes to accomplish this.. lol
People need to remember Daniel Pharris was the first to the 3.4x. The fact both cars in the 40s are procharger says a lot. Great runs Lee!
Procharger cars have less parity. Lol

That awesome!! Shit when we ran 6.99@ 214 in the 1/4 10 years ago we though we had the tiger by the tail!!LOL
Damn fast.
Sidnei frigo's car on radials is badass
Its a monster!

Killer times :)
The speed it gets through the gears is insane
Jason Lee ok son you have our attention WOW and FUCKME come to mind lol great job ya got MY SUB WOW
Isn't this the procharger livery car from a few years ago? Both promods, both procharged obviously
That car shifts so fast I thought he broke on a couple runs. Sounds like it broke loose and the limiter grabbed it. Then I realized it was shifting.
They have that radial racing figured out for sure!! Everyone had better start taking those prochargers seriously. Theyre taking over the world!!!
That combo has been dominating drag racing in all classes for about 2yrs now
Lol
@@bigboreracing356 nexus r5 looks pretty cool!
Anyone know what size rear tire they run...thanks

DAM!!
What does he keep turning on and off?
Gear changes.
💪
i don't know how he still dose this i would say what the hell if i was him
Can definitely hear that lockup doin it’s thing
I was trying to figure out why it was making like a slipping effect.

this is close as damnit to what nitro top fuel cars run in the 8th.
I assume you meant the 1/4 ?
Nitro runs 2.90/3.00 in the eighth on a good pass
if thats not a record 1/8 mile for a door car its gotta be damn close
fun fun i have videos like this
Anyone watching after Stevie broke the record

How can a car on radials go that fast? What engine combo is he running? I know it's procharged hemi, but ....
What is the tire size?
