  • An overview of the increasingly popular Tier-One Tactical bipod lineup. Get to know the features of both the standard and Evolution tactical bipods by Tier-One.
    The New Tactical Evolution Bipod features sealed roller bearings that are impervious to dust and water, this enables the Bipod to rotate smoothly around the rifle barrel, a feature not found in any other support system currently on the market.
    Multi-Foot options are available, including Spikes, Claws and Ski. Adjustable for Cant, so don't let the terrain dictate your shot, let the Evolution Bipod give you the support you need.
    Available in 230mm and 180mm leg lengths in either 7075T6 Aluminium or Carbon Fibre sleeved, it is adaptable for any scenario the professional or recreational user could find themselves confronting.
    Optional 50mm Leg Extensions available if extra height is required. Supplied in a tough Cordura case as standard.

    Thanks to everyone who has watched this video. Please note that we have updated the bipods and a video highlighting the latest features can be seen here:

    Please also note that, much to our regret, we are not currently able to supply the bipods with a case.

    Just ordered my Evolution bipod in Aluminum (not a lot of pictures online and benefits of CF over Aluminum). Hope it hold up well on my target shooting 308win.

    • @TierOne
      @TierOne  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks for joining the Tier-One family Eric. You'll have no problems with it on .308 Win. The military use the aluminium version too, so you're in good company! There's little difference in weight between the two options, with the carbon being more popular because of the look. It does offer a slight improvement when handling in cold conditions, but when it's that cold you'll have gloves on anyway.

      Really sorry to hear that, it's rare issues occur even with such low weight. Our ELR Competition bipod is designed for the rigours of modern competition shooting however. It's significantly more substantial in both size and the materials used and features all of our latest interface feature developments.

    I want to put one of the Evolution Carbon's on the front of my AR10 which is running a carbon Lancer Systems Hexagon MLOK fore end.
    How far back does the Mlok base on your Evolution reach? I just need to make sure my slots are far enough forward. Thanks in advance!

    With the evolution model do the legs turn or are they rigid.
    B&T10 V8 legs turn and as you shoot the rifle moves forward because the legs turn. The B&T46 has resolved this issue but people like me that spent over $500.00 CDN are stuck with this eng. mistake. They have a buyback system but now the same bipod will cost me 50% more to fix B&Ts mistake.

    • @TierOne
      @TierOne  2 роки тому

      Hi, no the legs do not turn / rotate, but are fixed and lock in place once deployed.

  • @bijano7320
    @bijano7320 4 роки тому +1

    any reason for omitting a 45 degree deployment of the legs? wouldn't the current minimum height of the legs make any decline angled shooting very hard?

    • @TierOne
      @TierOne  4 роки тому +1

      Hi Bijan O, B&T Industries have a patent on 45 degree bipod legs for the Atlas system. Although many manufactures have ignored this, especially those manufactured in China, we respect B&T Industries and their IP too much to infringe upon it, regardless of the likelihood of a challenge. Leg length options make the Tactical bipod very versatile, if you are shooting prone from an elevated position the the shorter 180mm leg is more suitable. 50mm leg extensions mean it can be configured for all kinds of different environments.

    • @TierOne

      Yes, the Evolution bipod is inherently more stable. As far as pan is concerned, it comes down to user preference, but most of us here use the Tactical bipod without it.

    Would the Evolution fit under an air rifle tank with 61mm diameter?

    • @TierOne
      @TierOne  Рік тому +1

      The Evolution bipod is designed to wrap around a 50mm sound moderator with plenty of clearance. It does work with some air rifle tanks, but 61mm sounds too wide. We do have a lot of air rifle users who mount it in front of their tank either on an extended rail or using a tank mounted rail.

    In what configuration does the tactical bipod with a sling swivel attachment come in? meaning does that adapter come with a tilt and pan feature or?

    • @TierOne
      @TierOne  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Matthew. The bipods themselves do not have sling swivel attachments, however our Picatinny adapter rails do have sling swivel attachment points on them. So it's the rail that has the sling attachment point rather than the bipod head.

    It's a shame the video hasn't been updated as the Evolution Bipod dosn't come with the pouch, which is a disappointing when opening the packaging, also this bipod does not lock up there is a fair amount of wiggle on the legs when deployed.
    Finish is not what I'd expect for a £300 bipod, this one is not the same quality as their scope rings that I use, but credit to the company they have told me to sent it back ASAP so they can look into the issues I have raised. Up date to follow.

      Sorry you're not happy, but it's a design we have been successfully using for years. It's a very popular bipod in our range. It's manufactured from 7075-T6 aluminium and aerospace grade carbon fibre so definitely not weak! This is our go to bipod on our long range 300 RUM. It massively helps reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise. If you let us know if you're experiencing a specific issue we might be able to resolve it and get you loving the bipod as much as we do.
