I bought Animals and Wild Animals over a year ago to play with my young kids (4-7) because they are the easiest. It didn't disappoint! The other decks are very dependent on what players know or not while everyone knows the animals.
I have enjoyed Similo. It is the most fun for me at three or four because the players have to explain their thought processes. In a 2 played game it is just about anticipating how one person thinks, while with more you are trying to anticipate where the group will end up. Was surprised by how enjoyable it is for a 10 minute or less experience.
I have all of them except Fantastic Beasts and the promo. My favorite is still the Harry Potter deck but the easiest to play with is the animals combined deck
I have the Harry Potter and I play it with my daughter all the time. She is a rabid Harry Potter fan. We win more than we loose. It’s all about knowing how the other people think. I’m interested in grabbing a second deck for the extra challenges
Really fun little game. My favourite way to play is using History with one of the animals decks - is Cleopatra similar or dissimilar to a humming bird?
I really like the artwork on these cards. Thank you for showing them.
This video was so helpful in deciding which decks I want with there being so many options! Thank you!
My favorite is the Essen promo.
And I was surprised, that it even works with other similos
Absolutely love Similo. Hunted down that Essen promo when I saw it announced, so happy to have that.
When using two decks, one is used for the display only and the other deck is used for the clues only.
I am a rebel and just mix two decks together. It works fine either way.

Fairytales is the best deck. Animals is always just bird or not, reptile or not, long neck or not.
@3:27 I love donkeys
The animal deck works really well with kids that are too young to read. Is a chicken or a wolf like a dog?
I love similo but is a bit too easy. Surprised to hear you don't win tons. Love the art.
If you like it, i'd recommend playing it with the Dixit/Mysterium cards for a more advanced game.
