My laptop sometimes lost wifi icon but then it appear again, then someday it lost again then appear again, and again ... There is no definite time when the icon will disappear. The network troubleshoot or restarting the laptop often didn't work, the icon just appeared out of the blue. Is there any solutions for that?
Same problem as me but mines way worse its bc of update i think 20h1 which did this i think its driver incompatibility but not sure all fixes i found on yt and google are temporary ill tell u if i found a solution

Hello sir there is no internet connections for me there is network and internet and when i click run it just opens a program called get help it says ethernet is not plugged in although i am using wireless internet.

@Meatfinder for me I fixed it by putting one of the wires plugged into the back of my computer into one of the other holes on the back of the computer and then the WiFi came back

Update your network drivers or go into device manager and check network adaptor, disable and enable/update the wireless adaptor then restart your PC, another solution is checking if windows fire wall is doing it @@Misoraaa_

Mine worked in another way. Went to the Asus website and downloaded the LAN driver and bluetooth driver from driver and tools section by selecting the model and OS. Transferred these files (via pendrive) and installed it. Wifi option came up immediately. Let me know if it helped .

Guys if you are not getting the wifi icon as well, try hard rebooting... Press the power off button till the device shuts off and turn it on again.. Do it a couple of times.. it always works for me

I happen to be having the same problem except this solution doesn’t work because that option is nonexistent for me. My usual fix was to restart the network but that no longer works for me. However I found out that some sort of cable is supposedly damaged or broken according to troubleshoot. Should I just take my laptop to be checked by a professional or should I try to resolve this at home?

@@ShekharPandey-ot5kg yeah I had it checked professionally and turns out the graphics card had to be replaced which is why the solutions in the video weren’t viable. I recommend trying out the methods provided in the video before having it checked out professionally to save money and time
Guys, open device manager-see intel(R) wireless Ac-double click opened -open driver-disable driver-restart your laptop

If it is still not working and you do not have an Ethernet or the ethernet itself is also not working, download the driver manually on another system or mobile device and then transfer it to your laptop for installation

my laptop got hacked once.he disappeared my reset option.then i went to a workshop and reset my laptop.after that when i use my laptop unplugged wifi disconnects and when i plug it it remains there forever.i donno if its a bug or its due to the hack...

Well, nothing worked until I restarted. After that I finally saw Wifi, but 1 minute later, it disappeared and I had to restart again.

Check for settings.
1. Press Windows key and go to Settings > System > Notifications & Actions.
2. On the right pane, click on Turn system icons on or off.
3. Switch On, by clicking on the button next to Network.
4. Check if the icon is now available on the bottom right corner of the Taskbar.
Hi, I tried all of the steps hoping I would see the WiFi but on the last step, the WiFi was not included in the options :( is there anything I should do? I downloaded a VPN but then I uninstalled it afterwards then the WiFi is missing :(

@@laya75 oh hey, if nothing worked out, I hope this simple solution helps you out! All you have to do is unplug your router and modem, unplug absolutely everything, from the ethernet cable that goes from your modem to your router(if any) to the actual Internet cable(should be thick and have like a needle at the end and it should also have a piece that’s used to tighten.) Disconnect everything and then put it back on starting first with your modem, then connect your router(if any) to the modem.

Hello Mr. Arabman. I have three additional methods you can try which wasn't mentioned in this video that might help fix the Wi-Fi connectivity issues you're experiencing. The first method involves opening the Services app. In the Taskbar search box type in "Services". Next, click on the Services icon. In the Services window that appears there will be five Services from the list in which adjustments need to be made. The five Services from the list to make the adjustments will be WLAN AutoConfig, WWAN AutoConfig, Windows Update, Network List Service and Windows Connection Manager. For each service use the mouse to highlight the service, then right click and select "Properties". In the Startup type menu box select "Automatic" and click the Apply button. For the Service status buttons click "Start" if the status doesn't say "running" and click the OK button. After these actions are completed for all five Services, restart your computer. The second method I have involves the "Run" action. Right click the start button. Click on "Run". Type in "msconfig" and hit enter. For the System Configuration window that appears check if "Selective start up" is already selected and also check if "Load system services" as well as "Load start up" items already gave check marks. If not, select and check mark the boxes. While in the System Configuration window click on the "Services" tab. Check if all services are enabled. If not then enable all of them. Restart your computer if you have to enable all the services. As for the third method I have right click the start button. Click on "Task Manager". The Task Manager window will appear. It should show a listing of running apps while you're in that window. If the listing of running apps doesn't appear right away after you clicked Task Manager, in the Task Manager window click the "More details" button at the bottom left to show the listing of running apps. When all running apps are shown, s roll all the way down to the bottom until you find a folder that says "Windows Explorer". Right click on that folder and select restart. After that close out the windows and restart your computer.

It's not working
At least for me, i found out that the issue happened when my Laptop was suspended (sleep). I switched all the power options to hibernate the laptop instead of suspending it, and it aparently solved the issue. I know it is not the best solution, since it takes some time for the PC wake up from hibernation, but it is better than fixing it every single time. From my research, this happens with a lot of people, no matter the Manufacturer. Looks like it is a windows 11 liability.
