Tell that to the people that use wins as a QB stat. It's ridiculous, especially in a sport which has SOOOO MANY moving parts. Coaches/coordinators are insanely important. Every position plays a crucial role. If you have a hole in a position, expect teams to exploit it. There's just so many variables in football that can effect the outcomes of games.

Never has happened. In ANY sport. Not for a player in his mid to late 30's, nevermind a 40 year old who will turn 41 during the season. And this is coming from a Jets fan. But we have Travis now to take over in '25.
We should have beaten KC last year with a garbage o-line and Zack. The OT held Jermaine Johnson for like 3 seconds straight allowing Mahomes to get a first down running on a 3rd and 13.
Aaron does not need to be great, just good. Breece Hall is going to go crazy this year and carry the offense.
@@revo1974 the chiefs had numerous games they should’ve lost last season including the one against the jets. If Rodgers can get close to 3000 yards with somewhere around 27-32 touchdowns, I’ll be in awe. Get to the postseason and I’ll call it a good season.

Stop with the quarterback vs quarterback comparison because i saw some bad coaching moves that allowed kansas city to get all the way and then win another superbowl .the chiefs wait for your team to make a strategic mistake and then they take advantage of it.
That and the fact that when their QB has the ball and a chance to win a game he's better than any other QB playing. Let's not pretend that KC didn't go through the number 1 and 2 seed in the AFC away from home before seeing off the number one team from the NFC in the SB. If it's not some harebrained conspiracy about the officials then apparently it's all down to poor coaching from the opposition and nothing to do with the best player in the game by an absolute mile. Mahomes currently has as many rings as every other starting QB in the league combined and it didn't happen by accident.

@bigmo1699 Brady did it after forty because he could never get out of his own way even in his prime, so getting older meant nothing to his mobility. But Rodgers' bread and butter was getting away from defenders. Those players don't make it at this age. And especially not after an achilles injury. He's done. I'm a Jets fan, but I'm not dilusional.

The Jets are overrated. Don’t get me wrong they have a nice roster but they don’t belong in the discussion of being a Super Bowl contender. Garrett Wilson is great. But he’s still the only legit receiver they can rely on. Mike Williams has been plagued with injuries for years, forget the risk of him not playing much this year, how much have his previous injuries affected his ability?
Breece Hall is a solid running back, but with Rodgers here instead of Wilson/White/Boyle, it’s fair to assume they’re not going to lean on the run as much as they did in previous years because they have better QB play. Their defense is undeniably great, but they really screwed up trading Bryce Huff and replacing him with Reddick who they knew wanted a new contract and now have refused to give him one, leading to a hold out. And more importantly, are they a top 5 defense? Off the top of my head, KC, Cleveland, SF, Baltimore, and Pittsburgh are all better. Defense also fluctuates year to year quote a bit.
They’ve had a terrible line the last few years which they’ve tried to address this offseason. Unfortunately for them they’ve been trying to do that every year since Joe Douglas has been the GM and it hasn’t work. And then you have a 40 year old QB coming off an Achilles injury. I don’t trust Nathaniel Hackett as the OC, and neither does the organization because they tried to replace him this offseason, and I like Saleh but he’s far from a great coach. Not to mention they very well could be the third best team in their own division.
