Evgeni is a complicated character. On one hand he really wants to save Rayashki and thinks Zeno is the best way to do it, but on the other hand, it's highly questionable that he'd just do whatever he wants without asking the opinion of the others involved, and he also seems to have some selfish motivations; he feels like he "deserves" to be recruited by Zeno, and can't understand why his fellow comrades wouldn't also want that. Honestly, I really appreciate the writing of his character, because he's not a true antagonist, like Bertolt, but also isn't exactly doing what's right in this situation.
Yes i totally agree! I also appreciate him as a character and as i said in the video i think he will have the occasion to redeem himself, but FOR NOW I'm gonna keep an eye on him 👀
