I sat trying to read the new skill descriptions for like an hour on remaster day trying to understand what was going on with burst, not understanding what I could be missing about the cooldowns. Turns out it's as dumb and simple as can be. One annoyance I noticed out of sloppy play is getting locked in a smash swing animation when you meant to final toss if you flub hitting up twice (as it triggers adrenaline surge's key input). This used to be gathering hook, which I admit to not appreciating its animation cancelling ability before the remaster, but now that it's adrenaline surge it doesn't seem worth the risk of messing up an up jump for a skill used so infrequently, so I just lock the command and bind surge to a key.
Hi I just figured it out you need to have 1000k combo and then you click “adrenaline rush activate” then you click “finisher adrenaline surge” to activate it :)
I’m aware that this is overall bad for end game mains, but in my case I never even got past clearing easy Will. Do you think for someone like me this class could be a good main?
Yeah, once I finish the more in-depth one, there'll be more accompanying graphics. This one was so I can make a command for my Twitch Stream so people stopped asking me LOOOOOOOL
There's really only one problem Aran has, and it was not changed in this Ride or Die update. But below 200? Leveling is absolutely pain unless you're Hyper Burning and Tera Blink. If the map isn't cramped the mobbing is basically non-existent even with a summon.
That's a point I'll be making in the in-depth video. Aran IS good as a mule now. It's the end-game where it becomes annoying, pointless, and hard drop off for our dmg from our Hexa due to the handicap that is the cooldowns. This is what so many ppl who don't main Aran don't know/can't understand.
Ah. Thought you were being/were one of those smooth brained redditors who just say it was good because of superficial reasons lol. Im glad, afterthe fact, for the mule aspect as Ima have 2 aran mulers now lol.... 3 if we count my main e.e
Don't you like having nearly 30~40s of not being able to use adren? Ignoring GMS AS10, KMS still gets around 20~30s of being at 1k Combos, ready to do another adren. There's so little thought put into this xD
Basically all you do now is spam beyond blade majority of the time since everything is locked under cd and adrenaline Aran completely lost it identity and uniqueness idk if we should even consider them as a combo class LOL luv nexon for always ruining classes
I was enjoying a lot on pre rework Aran. And then the I tried the new Aran, still feels amazing! Only sad part is maha polarm not showing in burst mode :(
Combo is now cosmetic rather than a mechanic

I’m honestly enjoy the remaster but obv I never mained it before
My finisher- adrenaline surge skill is grey and i can`t use, do u know why?

If you NEVER intend to go beyond that, which means more than likely, not hitting 6th job. Then sure?

Before it was better because we had an adren that was good. Now its just worse lol
Im an Adele main, would you suggest me switching Adele to Remaster Aran? And Is it still viable to Main Aran?
Aran as a main, as a veteran main, sucks.

@@GradedPeanut as a aran main, i really don't know what to do. When adren overload is on cooldown when bossing
@@phamminhtuan476 Hyper Adren/Overload should always be kept for the 3 min and 6 min bursts.
Aran inner ability 1st line which better - Boss DMG or +attack speed?

How did you get the menu that shows skills cooldowns aswell as buff cooldowns near the quest helper tab?
Go to Options >> UI >> Favorite Buffs

Only for training, but it's not worth the investment imo. Unless you value having carnage up for each spawn wave.
Hey Peanut, adrenaline surge is unclickable and greyed out. It won’t let me hotkey it or use it at all. Am I missing something?

You have to be in adren overload to use that. Go to the burst portion of the video via the timestamps
