That’s totally messed up that you’re a fan of an ideology that leads to famine, poverty, mass death, thought control and mass murder. You’re a fascist removed by only one relative. What’s wrong in your life that this seems awesome?
Mr Wolf, wonderful economist teaching us in a very singular style that is easy to understand and difficult to contest because of his knowledge in history and honest dissertation
to Mr. Wolff and his contribution to our Republic is valuable if not treasured by many I am 63 and understand all that he has said and study and knew what was happening in this country when I was in high school, in my opinion socialism will be achieved in its new form by understanding its faults and success within this decade. if not sooner, Senator Sanders was derailed by his own party yet did not take the next brave move and ran on an independent political ticket, yet he bowed to DNC and its establishment ruling elite I was very disappointed with AOC along with rest of the socialist left not forcing a vote for medical coverage for everyone and slashing student borrowing for education, a jewel in American economic future, and increasing minimum wage to $20. anyone under 40 will be these countries next warriors in the fight for Freedom and enjoy the celebration of life that so many millions of people died for liberty equalities fraternity with social democracy for all working peoples of this planet, Mr. Wolff I applaud your humanist love.
Amazing satire, especially given Wolff’s inflection that is so Hitleresque! He’s so emphatic about how socialism and Marxism are just the same as Fascism! Collectivism of all kinds is the same. It dehumanizes and leads to poverty, death and dystopia. Wolff’s terrifying enthusiasm exemplifies this greatly! Thanks for the honesty, Professor Wolff and your terrifying supporters!!! 😬
Can Prof. Wolfe speak to the nationalization of the money supply? Many leftists get the “deer in the headlights” look when confronted with “end the Fed” arguments. Because although an error in formal logic, “guilt by association” is in force in the Academy. Wolfe is a survivor. He knows this by experience.
I’m listening and hearing Hitler with races simply transposed. We dismissed collectivism after 1950 because we realized it led to the diminishment of human rights, mass murder and mass famine. Is that what you’re hoping for? That’s your utopia?
The two hosts are not up to the speed on complex economic development in today's world. Professor Wolf has done an excellent job. We appreciate his work. My only question is if we do not vote for Trump and then who is out there to vote for ? A walking dead man that can't find his way on the stage or climb the stairs to his Presidential Jet.
Third party. To demonstrate an alternative COULD be a possibility to the criminal duopoly. I'd vote Jill Stein. Vote the change you wish to see. Assuming, of course, you have any faith in electoral politics. I don't.
@@4imagesmore I was hoping for RFK Jr but it seems like he is not going to make it to the ballot box in all states. Sad that this blessed beautiful land doesn't have a strong true leadership.
Americans fetishize electoral politics terribly, I know, but voting isn't always a particularly important activity. If the entire electoral system is dysfunctional, as it is right now, then you're much better off doing union work, antiwar work or other community-based organization as the serious political business of the day. Throw in a vote for a third party if you like one of them, but really - the quicker we get over this lazy over-reliance on electoral theatrics the better.
Interesting times. There are no more revolutions just choices. Something im seeing in the BRICS. Thanks again Mr Wolff. ( I mispelled your mame, left of an f :) Well , shouldnt have said revolutions. " Nothing new under the sun, just choices" Its complocated , no ? ....yes? :)
As a capitalist economist, politician, who do want to change the existing system- eg..change of money to dollars - will be a great tragedy, like that of demonetisation. Already there is inflation giving great burden to citizens.
@@ChicagoMike85 The money under circulation . In Argentina after the elections the capitalist leader declared their currency replacement by dollar. That will be a great tragedy. Indian economy was smooth running before demonetisation. Demonetisation of existing money then changing to dollars will give a dead blow to the economy alongwith the inflationary burden.
🎉The two wealth blocs mentioned are not helpful in any way to the safety and success of the working class because both are capitalist in nature. It makes little difference to me as a working class woman who makes money off of my labor and employs me for insufficient wages. What does animate me is both democracy and socialism because those two ideas fused and put to work give me some measure of autonomy in my work life and in my political life.
China has both socialism AND democracy. First page of China’s Constitution-Socialism, Power Belongs to the People, Democracy, Minority Rights. China was ranked first in Happiest Countries in a 2023 survey which you can Google. Professor Wolff is 90% correct about China but biased in a natural sense. I don’t know if he has ever been to China, he never mentioned it. US as an empire is ruled by elites to begin with whereas China since 1949 is not. Therefore China does not have the same employer/employee problems. In China, rather capitalists the private sector is headed by entrepreneurs. Gifted entrepreneurs lead educated work force guided by government planning maximise economic gains for all. Therefore China could eradicate abject poverty and drastically raised living standards. As the empire fades, US elites will lose powers but most still get to keep their money, billionaires shall remain as billionaires. China on the other hand is trying to save world from the empire and global warming.

Distorting political & economic history to serve his narrative. Richard has style & cleverness in his presentation but we would be better served were he to have accuracy & rational arguments.
Outstanding! Prof Wolff surely is the master. I always enjoy listening to him.

Great truth teller of our time, but not many are listening.

..but not when it comes to MMT. I don’t think Prof Wolff has really got his head around it yet.

What do you mean “change of money to dollars”? Do we not use dollars already?

The enemy of employees is employers..what a psychotic statement. Deranged.
How is that a psychotic Statement ? Thats literally the Power dynamic in the structure .
