Flywheel was always better
I can vouch on how good these robots are. I played against 2145Z b4 in fact in multiple matches. When we partned up with them one time we won 105 to 20. But then another time when we went against them in the first elimination round we lost against them 36 to 245. Overall, they showed up to most of the competitions we went to and they won tournament champion and excellence award in every single one of them.
2145z definitely qualifies as one of the best teams in the world 🌎
I need to know how you designed your endgame. Due to our robot design we cannot incorporate the standard style of endgame mounted to the top of the robot and we have been looking for the best way to mount 4 endgames all season
Our team made a similar elevator disc fliping design about a month ago when you guys had the smaller bot. I was excited to see you guys switch to it because we haven't seen many other teams with this idea. We qualified for regionals and we just took apart our robot to make it a smaller, faster 6m drive to try to get to worlds. I was wondering how you push the discs into the flywheel so quickly? In our design we used a piston but that seems way slower than what you guys have.
Our design does not incorporate pneumatic feeding for our flywheel. We will be releasing a new reveal soon so stay tuned 🌽
It’s a wheel indexer, with flex wheels under the discs that spin it into the flywheel. You can pretty much spitfire discs with it.

Our driver spends around 1-2 hours driving a day when he’s not building (he’s also the builder)
Your robot moves so smoothly when changing directions! Would you mind explaining what prevents your robot from jerking back and forth after changing directions?
A crucial part in preventing jerky movements is weight distribution. The vast majority of our robots went is centered and low. Additionally, our movements work on a curve which allows our driver to have more control over the robots movement. If you have any more questions let me know 🌽
