Great job Carsten as usual. I wonder how you’d go about putting some water in something like that artwork like a stream trickle. Just a thought. Amazon effect you make look so simple. 👍🏻 🇦🇺
I've never used or own an airbrush. Intrigued I came across your videos; much appreciated now I'm 'engrossed' in the tactics used and looking to buy my first airbrush kit with a good understanding of technique. I look forward to experimenting, achieving and maybe accomplishing something to hang on my wall. LOL!
Hey man can you tell me the kind of synthetic paper you use? I cant find anything like it where i am.....I started this project yesterday, and coated a piece of Bristol papaer with a water based polymer....but i cant scratch the paint off, and when i try im scratching into the actual paper....Thanks Marcus.
Say you wanted to paint this into the lexan bed of a r/c truck. Can you explain how you’d create the shading effect like that when your layers are inverted?
So you’re painting the “back side” of the lexan for it to show through from underneath. I know I’m over-explaining this right now. I’m sure you understand the concept.
I will use this technic for painting my motorcycle. I want to make a bbq style bike and make brikets with this technic. starting up front and make them slowly red and flames at the end. thx for sharing.
@@AirbrushAsylum perfect timing wish i could post a photo here to show you how much it helped love that paddle pop trick i think i could also use that trick to do sand and maybe stars as well thank you can't wait to learn more tricks
If I wanted this picture to look like it was underwater. How would I achieve this effect any advise please? I'm just getting into airbrushing and can't find any tutorials.
Thank you for your comment , once you finish your art spray over it with a candy blue or transparent blue to simulate it being ‘underwater’ have a look at this vid where I do just that over some skulls 👉🏻 ua-cam.com/video/0meZAkLiUAo/v-deo.html
Yes there is , don’t sharpen like a normal pencil use a blade and cut down on a more extreme angle to create the shorter point...I may need to do a vid showcasing this as it’s hard to explain in a comment but hope that helps nonetheless 👍🏻🤔

Great demo.
Reminds me of the Yes album cover by Roger Dean, Relayer. Wonderful granite rocks with snakes crawling over them and a citadel behind.

Looks more like charcoal briquettes than rocks!
Para trabajar con aerógrafo toca con compresor pequeño o se puede con uno grande?
They have portable battery powered ones now -
That's what I use

Is there a method to sharpening the eraser pencil? Every time I try and sharpen, I end up "chunking" the tip.
